Fire Alicorn, slowly rebuilding her power hidden away in a far away in the Dark Castle. Sends minion/adopted daughter(Misty) to do her bidding like a SatAM villain, gauging the strength of ponies while she works to undermine them, mostly contained to her castle by a spell and debuffed by another Alicorn, collected powerful mystical objects, she wants to teach Equestria to submit to alicorn rule again, tempts Shiny into joining her pretending to be Shiny's inner voice as her reflection, contacts her through the compact mirror Opaline enchants and encourages her to embrace her Alicorn status and all the recognition that comes with it, calls herself a Queen, from Skyros, millennia old, desire to rule Equestria absorbing all magic for her own. drawn to power, manipulative, gaslighter, told Misty a story that made her a victim. She has the most complete knowledge on the Alicorn domain and has sour memories about Celestia and Luna when they were all fillies because according to her, they didn't respect her fire element as an alicorn and snubbed her being more important as celestial alicorns.

Opaline collected artifacts like Argyle but not for trivial use. When she's in her weakened state under the alicorn's seal Opaline's magic is capped only capable of small feats like enchantments or small bursts of power like a firey laser beam burst, and bind a pony, physically she's easily worn out as a result of being trapped in the Dark Castle for generations. Opaline can drain magic to increase her magic pool from dragonfire and other magical creatures as long as she's strong enough. When Opaline has an increase of power she takes on more firey appearance such as little flames in the eyes or a flash of flaring fire on flaring out her wings.
