mk 11 sonya blade

In Mortal Kombat 11, Sonya Blade's appearance is a modernized, tactical military look, featuring a grey and blue Special Forces uniform with skull patches, armbands, and a headband, reflecting her Special Forces General role and tying into her past designs but with enhanced graphics and vibrant colors. She also has different costumes, including a younger version with a sporty gray/white outfit and skull patches on the sleeves. General of Earthrealm Special Forces, Sonya Blade is a beautiful, stern, tough-as-nails General. Sonya represents a very emancipated and headstrong woman, but for all her stubbornness and pride, she deeply cares about the lives of her friends and comrades. She has a long-standing enmity with the Black Dragon leader, Kano, who had murdered a former partner of hers, and stands for everything Sonya despises. She has also feuded with other Black Dragon members such as Jarek.

During the events of the new timeline, Sonya was in a relationship with Johnny Cage not long after the Netherrealm War and Shinnok's defeat, they got married. Together, they had a daughter named Cassandra Carlton Cage, but they later divorced. In MK11, she has a mobile sentry gun known as BUD-E (known as KAT in the move list) armed with a cannon chambered in .50 caliber rounds that can switch between semi auto and automatic fire mode. The drone has less weapon options than her previous drone, but it is used with different tactics in battle. BUD-E acts as a turret, being able to shoot and walk, but can also jump to tackle the opponent to the ground. It can also be used for surprise attacks by airdropping the drone above the unsuspecting opponent, crushing them under its weight and accumulated kinetic energy. Her drone still retains the ability to self-destruct with an explosion.
