She has a mother named Carmen (48 years old) who is of Canadian decent and her father Akuma (52 years old) born of Japanese decent. Kaiya has one older brother named Akihiko (27 years old) that she absolutely loves and considers him practically her bestfriend as he helped her adjust so well to their new life in Canada when they arrived there at such a young age.
