Miyamoto Musashi, Class Name Saber, a Saber-class Servant. Formally named Shinmen Musashi no Kami Fujiwara no Harunobu, Musashi is a swordsman from the early Edo period, renowned as the strongest swordsman in the history of Japan. He founded the Niten Ichi-ryū school of swordsmanship; a martial art that involved the dual-wielding of a katana and wakizashi. However her circumstances are somehow different from the Musashi that left his name in history. History, In the proper history, Musashi was born in Oohara, Sakushu (modern day Mimasaka, in the Okayama Prefecture), at 1584. His father was a practitioner of martial arts named Shinmen Munisai, who served as an instructor of martial arts to the Shinmen House of lords of the Takayama Castle, and who received the name of Shinmen from his employer’s family. Shinmen Munisai built a dojo of Jutte techniques in the Miyamoto village of the Yoshino district, and Musashi would later call himself “Miyamoto” due having this land as his hometown. He left behind many anecdotes and went through numerous battles against martial artists upon reaching adulthood - especially during the ten years of his 20s. Those famous bouts are even now seen as a staple of the entertainment industry. However, the truth behind the episodes of these ten years of battle is mostly wrapped in mystery and there are strong suspicions about them being mere fiction. Life, Whereas the Musashi of the established timeline was in fact historically a man, the Miyamoto Musashi that appears in Fate/Grand Order is a young woman—a personage that originated of a timeline long-extinguished by the fall of the Quantum Time-Locks. Since the elimination of her world, she has perpetually shifted from timeline to timeline at random, traversing all varieties of locales and time-periods. In her original world, 'Miyamoto Musashi' is a nameless swordsman that lives care freely day to day.Shinmen Munisai had abandoned Musashi because she was a girl. Though she was disowned, she built a hut in front of her father's house and lived there just to spite him. Once, she went to Sagami for martial training, she saw a strange old man while taking sheter from the rain. Appearance, When Katou Danzou self destructed, Musashi wears a Tsuba as an eye patch. Personality, As you see, the person herself has a relaxed, open attitude that never gets worked up. Having no particular interest in victory or prestige, yet sloven with alcohol, a sucker for money and weak against free food. However, all those who confronted and were beaten by her in battle said this in the end, ───a vibrant flower of tengen. Her sword reaches the heights of nothingness. Cheerful and openhearted, a female swordsman that is lively yet dignified. Constantly full of pride, acting complacently, but that does not mean she is looking down on her opponent. She is merely enjoying life. Her way of expressing emotions is somewhat great. She greatly laughs and gets greatly surprised. While she has a broad-minded personality that laughs off at most things, due being “someone who masters the way of the sword” at her roots, she is very dry and severe in regards to the taking of lives. That being said, she falls in love easily and likes to be depended on very much. She also likes to be praised very much. Weak to flattery. A banchou disposition that loves a brawl. Although she has a sense of justice, she never preaches to be righteous herself. Fundamentally a carefree wandering vagabond, She is happy about the other world's Musashi became a really famous figure. Abilities, Miyamoto Musashi is regarded as a very powerful Servant by Goredolf Musik. Musashi has trained for her entire life to develop her ultimate technique named Kengou Battou: Ishana-Daitenshou, in an attempt to surpass the sword of her father, which had reached "One", the One where nothing lies beyond, where nothing can be considered higher. As such, her life objective was to reach a sword that exceeds the One, the seat of emptiness to reach Zero. Sukeroku regarded her aim as meaningless as the greatest enemy for a swordsman is the one who takes the opposite path to her Origin to its extremes. The path that opposes it, is in other words, Infinity. It is surely a path that no one can ever walk. Musashi's dual-wielding style is said to be a lot flashier than that of his male counterpart. Alive, Due to her Heavenly Eye, she is able to view different possibilities, making her akin to a mobile Singularity where anything and everything becomes possible, almost like a Holy Grail. This allowed her to survive her world's pruning by granting her the unusual ability to travel between Parallel Worlds without Rayshifting, but forces her to travel to different worlds once the causality keeping her in her current world wavers. Due to having been born in a Lostbelt that was already pruned away, the worlds register her as a foreign object that shouldn't exist, and so they eventually reject her, making it so she is unable to enter the same world she has visited before. Although she can see the entrances to many different of worlds when she shifts and can choose one to "jump into", she doesn't actually know which world it is beforehand, so she doesn't know which one could take her back to her original world. The entrances to different worlds are finite and become fewer with each world she visits, and by the time she reaches Olympus, she declares it to be her last stop. This ability allowed Musashi to travel to all kinds of worlds and hone her skills fighting different types of opponents. Despite Mysterious Heroine X considering herself a master swordsman, she worries when she senses the same aura from Miyamoto Musashi as she did from Shiki Ryougi, whose serious manner allowed her to ignore the rules of the Cosmos Dimension protecting Heroine X (comedy characters can't die). Just like MHX, Musashi will do whatever it takes to win. Musashi uses her Niten Ichiryu after having set her eyes on X's weakness and targets her left hand. X is unable to stop her, and thus, Musashi successfully destroys her W.F.D. bracelet on her wrist, which had been specially made by the new engineer that joined the Knights of the Round Table team, Lionhead. X runs away in fear. Despite considering herself a very inexperienced fighter with a long way to go, especially when comparing herself to others such as Houzouin Inshun and the elderly Yagyu swordsman, throughout her many travels, Miyamoto Musashi became akin to a Heroic Spirit despite still being alive. In fact, Musashi is a true master of the art of the sword and a person with monstrous abilities just like Saber of Empireo. Myoujingiri Muramasa, Musashi usually keeps four katanas, except in the Shimosa Singularity, where she was forced to use Senji Muramasa's finest katana, Myoujingiri Muramasa, in order to fight equally with the Heroic Spirit Swordmasters. While she originally claims that all Heroic Spirit Swordmasters surpass her in power, with this special sword she's able to reach their Spiritual Core in the ether, destroying them in the process with a single hit. One of Musashi's most important abilities is her mind's eye. With it, Musashi is capable of facing her enemies on her head in a no-holds-barred duel multiple times until she comes up with a successful tactic. The essence of her Niten Ichiryu lies in adapting to hundreds if not thousands of possibilities, however, in her fight against Saber of Empireo this fighting style proved to be useless due to her being unable to read his next move. To defeat his Suigetsu, she had to enter the realms of the gods herself. She had to find the one right answer that lay beyond every possibility by slashing through the unbreakable heavens themselves. In other words, she finally mastered Ishana Daitenshou. The strongest foe Musashi fought during her life was without a doubt the Nameless Saber. Just from looking at him, Musashi immediately recognized his identity as his fated ultimate rival, Sasaki Kojirou. Before their swords ever clash, Musashi also claims that his skill is godly and that he's at least several times stronger than her. As their blades clashed, their power and technique seemed evenly matched. Not only that. Their skills had surpassed everything; time, space, existence, essence. Each being the other's perfect mirror image. They eventually reached the Realm of Infinity, or the Realm of Nothingness, a place only true masters of the sword can reach. It is not a world; it is neither the proper history nor culled history; it is beyond even the rift of reality and dreams. It is an impossible domain where zero and infinity clash endlessly. It was finally in her duel with Sasaki Kojirou that Musashi truly reached the Void, a sword of zero that exceeds the unequaled. Class Skills, Magic Resistance (A Rank): Witchcraft, ninjutsu and evil spirits tempting the human realm are nothing to be afraid of. A swordsman does not need to be a master to ward off, in a single stroke, techniques that do not have a sword’s heart. No matter the type of Greater Ritual, she can cut down any magecraft ranked A or lower. Personal Skills, Heavenly Eye (A Rank): A Mystic Eye ability that permits the resolution of a desired result as "inevitable," by way of committing the entirety of the user's existence to the act of achieving the outcome. In practice, Musashi's application of the Heavenly Eye generally defines that “cutting a certain place”. For example, once she has decided to “cut the opponent’s right arm”, she will sever said right arm by taking all and every measure. As a result, her attack becomes the optimal answer for a slash - “a sword stroke without anything pointless, which makes even time and space yield”. A power to take all the “measures for the sake of achieving an objective” and “narrowing them down to one”. You might as well say that this is an extremely unique set of mystic eyes, which confines the naturally infinite futures into “just a single” result. Fifth Force (A Rank): A stance that instantly maximizes power, the main advantage of using two swords. The Niten Ichi-ryuu is a style that fights while going along with the circumstances, letting the sword fight as it wants to, but in exceptional situations when she is facing against a powerful opponent; when she is facing against destiny, she calms herself down, turns her sword’s heart into Zero, and takes the stance. The Book of Five Rings (- Rank): Right before death, Musashi compiled the mental state he attained during his lifetime, his cultivated techniques, into one book. Divided into the five volumes of Earth, Water, Fire, Wind, and Void, this book was the culmination of the human being called “Musashi”. The Book of Five Rings gives an outline of the Niten Ichi-ryu and explains its ideology as an art of war in the Book of Earth, explains concrete techniques on the Book of Water, talks about the art of war in the dimensions of tactics and strategy, and - just like the above-mentioned - explains the fundamental understanding of the Niten Ichi-ryu by means of a repudiation of other schools. Battle Continuation (EX Rank): Tries every dirty trick in the book to survive. Playing dead not to lose a fight is one of her fortes. She confuses the enemies with her speeches and pulls off amazing comebacks from disgraceful escapes. She is a shameless realist to the core and seems to use "If I win at the end, I'm the winner, right? That's why I have to run away now! After all, if I'm dead, I can't win at the end, can I?" as a convenient excuse for it. This is who Girl Musashi is. Noble Phantasms, Musashi's main Noble Phantasm is Six Realms Five Rings - The Divine Figure of Kurikara (usually known as Ishana Daitenshou). With it, Musashi overpowers her opponent with her swords’ energy damaging their spirit. A final blow performed with all her might. It can be considered an embodiment of the sword of “Zero”, the concept of “Void” Musashi has yet to master. The Organization for the Preservation of Human Order, Finis Chaldea, also called the Chaldea Security Organization or simply Chaldea, is a secret agency founded with the purpose of preventing the "certain extinction" of the human race. Novum Chaldea, the Wandering Sea Chaldea Base. Everything has been faithfully recreated, from the personal quarters to the control room, and everyone has their own personal room. The only difference is that it lacks CHALDEAS but is equipped with Trismegistus II. Sometimes later, a massive new underground library just appeared one day, separate from the one Chaldea already had. Using magecraft to bend the space around it, it fits entirely in the storage area, and doesn't get in the way of the Magical Reactor or other support systems. Chaldea's training room is an advanced virtual reality system, originally designed for Servants to perform live-fire combat training against other Servants or simulated enemies without putting themselves or Chaldea as a whole in real danger. While initial versions were simple and focused more on the aforementioned training exercises, increased demand from Servants who saw its untapped potential led to its being enhanced further in order to allow it to provide a variety of other services. In its current state, the simulator can generate perfect duplicates of scenes from a variety of settings derived from both Proper Human History and splinter timelines such as the Lostbelts. Magical energy usage within the simulation is minimal, allowing Servants to live within a simulation indefinitely if they wish to do so. Chaldea can use Rayshift-based time travel technology permits the projection of the spirit of a living human into the past. Da Vinci explains that the capacity of a Rayshift subject to safely return to their era of origin requires that the integrity of their soul is maintained within a certain variance of their original spiritual structure via consistent confirmation by a quantum observer. Said observer also prevents the local Counter Force of a past era from relegating the Rayshift subject to a phantasmal existence, and thereby excluding them from the Human Domain. Coffins are machines that Chaldea's Masters use for Rayshifting. While it is possible to Rayshift without a coffin, they increase the chance of success and have breakers so if the shift success rate drops below 95%, it cuts the power. The machine provides accurate vitals check on the occupant and has a cryogenic freezer built in. The Human Order Incineration Incident is the first crisis Chaldea faces, the destruction of humanity and the world by Goetia and the Demon Gods in an attempt to create a new world where death does not exist. The Remnant Order is the mission to solve what was left behind after the destruction of Goetia, the remaining four Demon Gods and the Subspecies Singularities they bring forth. The Human Order Revision Incident is the second crisis faced by Chaldea. It is the whitening of the world enacted by the Alien God and the Crypters, erasing the current Human Order to supplant it with one of the seven Lostbelts. A Singularity is an unobservable region that does not exist within Chaldea's recorded history. It's as if a hole has opened up within the timeline, a hole that is separate from the regular temporal axis. If Human History is thought of as one long scroll, Singularities are like stains that weaken the scroll by contaminating the history around them. The emergence of large Singularities cause disturbances and fluctuations in time which spread out through history like a wave, and can cause other, smaller Singularities to emerge at other points in time. Left unattended to, these Singularities can grow and become a threat in their own right. Sometimes these small Singularities disappear on their own. A Lostbelt is a history which has hit a dead end, considered "unnecessary" and cut off from becoming even parallel worlds. If one thinks of Human History as one long scroll, the Lostbelts are like another scroll entirely that was discarded once it was clear it was no longer useful.
