Appearance: Keeping with her "China Girl" theme, Miyako seems to wear a traditional Chinese outfit. Her clothing in Melty Blood also resemble traditional Chinese dress. To elaborate further on her character design, she has long brown hair that flows past her shoulders down to about her chest, accented by a black bow on the sides of her head. Miyako has green eyes and a rather slim figure, fitting for her age.

She wears a red tangzhuang with white cuffs, paired with black bike shorts, black knee-high socks and pink shoes. A magenta T-shirt with a few black stars under a slightly larger white star is worn under the tangzhuang in one of her victory animations in Melty Blood: Type Lumina.

Personality: Her feelings are easy to see as she always wears her heart on her sleeve. She unabashedly adores her kind, quiet older "brother", but whenever he is near, she becomes so nervous she can barely speak. This continued for many years until Shiki was suddenly called back in the Tohno family, and Miyako did not take the news well.

Though she and Akiha are more of distant cousins in terms of familial relations with each other, Type Lumina has Neco-Arc refer to Akiha as "Miyako's stepsister" in her Boss Rush story, implying that Miyako sees Akiha as her "older sister" by virtue of Akiha being Shiki's actual younger sister. Of course, thanks to that, this also means that she sees Akiha as her biggest competitor when it comes to getting her "big brother's" affection.

Additional Information: ● Miyako Arima (有間 都古, Arima Miyako) is a cousin of Shiki Tohno, as well as his other adoptive sister. She debuts in Melty Blood: Type Lumina.

● She is the eldest daughter of the Arima branch family (with weak oni blood), which took Shiki in as a child. Currently in the fifth grade, she sees herself as Shiki's other sister.

Shiki came to live in her house. At around the same time, she started to become aware of her surroundings, and it seems that for her it was something close to love at first sight. Ever since then, she has been spinning around in circles trying to figure out how to get closer to him. Because she's the kind of person that gets incredibly flustered when she's with the person she likes, she was always at a loss for words around Shiki, and expressed her frustrations by tackling him. Before he knew it, head-butts to his solar plexus had become just another part of Shiki's daily life. Though, after Shiki returned to the Tohno mansion it seems she was able to start talking a bit more. In Melty Blood, she appears as a hidden character. Burning with a passion to bring back her big brother, she confronted the entire Tohno household on her own. It was one of Melty Blood's more comedic routes, with the premise being that she was proving herself to Shiki that she is the strongest little sister.

● Miyako learned Bajiquan by observing others in her family's dojo, though it remains unused as she merely pretends to display her shared moves at the same level of a child's play. While she was nowhere near the skill of a true martial artist, her abilities quickly flourish in the ensuing battle. Her destructive powers make it hard to believe she is only 11 years old.

● Miyako attends the Misaki Municipal High School, the local high school where Tsukihime sets in.

● She is known to like club activities and old Kung-fu movies.

● She is known to dislike discussing about love and seniors.

● Some of her favorite foods she likes to eat are Chinese dumplings and bright-red Mapo that she ate someday, somewhere.

Her least favorite foods are supplements and a bright-red Sandwich that she ate someday, somewhere.
