Their ears droop downwards, their eyebrows are frayed and their whiskers point downwards. Their eyes are magenta. They wear a majenta bows on their hair and tail, a white collared shirt with purple stripes on its collar and sleeves, a yellow bell, gray suspenders and gray pants.

Personality Mittens is highly composed, cunning and without empathy for dogs. They enjoy seeing dogs fail and cats succeed, though aren't very kind to either. To other cats, they are at least polite. They value their familial relationships and the status their family name offers them, though are shocked to find that the Wichien's rise to fame is somewhat owed to dogs. They are capable of coming to logical conclusions despite their prejudices and eventually offer some sympathy to dogs.

Biography Mittens is the President of Kemono Woods Private School's Elite Magic Club. They come from an upper class household and is the star child as a result of their knack for magic, something their twin lacks. They are completely unaware of their relation to the Claret family prior to reading the Claret Family Grimoire in Patches' Infurno.

Relationships Whiskers Wichien: Whiskers is Mittens' twin brother. They are very close, with Mittens being the more mature and powerful one. Whisk is often following their lead and Mitt is very protective of him, especially as a result of him having no magical ability of his own.

Ginger Claret: Ginger Claret is a very distant relative. Through the Claret Family Grimoire Mittens and Whiskers learn of their familial relationship to her. This drives Mittens to reconsider their own relationship with dogs. By the end of the game they've processed the revelation enough to grant the dogs their lives back. Purrfect Apawcalypse: Patches' Infurno

Mittens first appears in Purrfect Apawcalypse: Patches' Infurno as the President of the Elite Magic Club and an attendant of the Hachiko High x Kemono Woods Communal School Day. Though they act as an auditor of the event, their only intention is to see dogs fail and cats succeed. They are highly prejudiced against dogs until they find out their familial relation to Ginger via the Claret Family Grimoire. Whilst shocked by this revelation, Patches steals their crystal ball from their bag. At the final assembly in the field, Mittens announces that the lives of the zombie dogs should not be in the hands of the cats, and attempt to summon Bapawmet to heal the students of Hachiko High. They realize their crystal ball has been stolen, and Patches summons Bapawmet instead. In the good ending of the game, Mittens is found bonding with Ginger. The two are keen on planning more communal school days.

Trivia Likes: Magic studies, fashion, gossip, family (especially Whiskers). Dislikes: Dogs (before Olive and friends), being lied to. They are the second non-binary identifying character in the games after Olive. Mittens' first name was chosen for its unassuming cuteness and how good it sounded with Whiskers' name. Their last name is a reference to the Siamese cat breed's name in Thai, "Maeo Wichien Maat".
