(MITSURI KANROJI: Name: Mitsuri Kanroji. Age: 19. Birthday: June 1st. Gender: female. Height: 5'6". Rank: Love Hashira. Breathing Style: Love Breathing. Other: Mitsuri's hair color is said to be the way it is because of her eating too much sakuramochi. She once ate 170 mochis everyday for eight months. Because of how much she eats, her food expenses are unexpectedly high. Mitsuri's hobbies are cooking and Menko, which she has never lost at. Mitsuri and Shinobu get along quite well due to them having been the only two female Hashira after Kanae's death. She also teaches Shinobu western cooking.)

(APPEARANCE: Mitsuri is a curvaceous young woman of pale skin complexion, whose slender, graceful build belies her deceptive muscular strength. She stands slightly taller than average. She has large, round, bright pale green eyes with a darker green center, long black eyelashes, and many notable white sparkles reflecting light off of them, a small beauty mark beneath each of them, and light pink lipstick. Mitsuri has long and visibly thick pink hair that fades into a lime green color at the halfway point, which she wears in three thick braids. She has five shorter, choppy clumps hanging over her face as voluminous bangs, the tips lime green as well. Mitsuri wears a heavily customized version of the standard Demon Slayer Corps uniform, tinted light plum. Her outfit consists of a tight-fitting button-up jacket with a stand-up collar and long sleeves, featuring gold buttons and a shirt pocket on the left breast, with the kanji for Destroy (滅めつ, Metsu?) engraved on the back of the uniform. Beneath this, she wears a white long-sleeved collared undershirt. Due to the snug fit of her uniform, both the chest area of the jacket and her undershirt are left unbuttoned and open, exposing her cleavage. Instead of the standard tattsuke-hakama pants, Mitsuri wears a short pleated mini-skirt, maintaining the color and fabric style of her uniform. Her waist is fastened with the standard white belt. Over her uniform, she wears a plain white haori—a gift given to her by Kyojuro Rengoku, the Flame Hashira and her mentor. For legwear, she dons a pair of lime green thigh-high stockings with vertical stripes and teal cuffs at the top. These were a gift from Obanai Iguro, the Serpent Hashira. Her footwear consists of white zōri sandals with pink straps, tied at the front in decorative bows.)

(PERSONALITY: Mitsuri is a very emotional, passionate, and jovial individual who constantly compliments and swoons over her comrades in her head, likely a contributing factor towards her nickname as "the Hashira of Love". Although she can be shy and is easily flustered, she is shown to be a very kind and caring person, always showing others her love, which befits her Hashira title. Besides her rather emotional personality, Mitsuri can come off as somewhat childlike at times and is prone to exaggerated over-reactions. Given her desperation for marriage, Mitsuri decided to become a member of the Corps with the purpose of finding a suitable husband stronger than her, a rather difficult task given the astounding level of her physical strength. Upon joining the Demon Slayer Corps, she was happy, enjoying her time being praised and being with her senior or junior colleagues. However, as her colleagues died one after another, she couldn't help but tremble in anger and sadness at times. She felt an immense amount of guilt for her reasoning behind becoming a Demon Slayer to the point where she ate much less than her typical meals. However, she was able to move past those feelings with the help of Shinobu Kocho and Obanai Iguro. Despite her gentle demeanor, Mitsuri will show no mercy in the face of demons, instead expressing such sentiments with a fierce tone.)

(ABILITIES: As a Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, Mitsuri is a very powerful and skilled combatant. She is said to have completed the Final Selection within a mere six months of training, which Kyojuro Rengoku considers outstanding. Mitsuri has a special muscular composition, making her muscles eight times denser than that of a regular human. While her limbs are thin, they possess unbelievable strength and endurance capable of maintaining her body's structure. To maintain the composition of her body, Mitsuri eats as much as three sumo wrestlers. Mitsuri has been noted to possess an extremely flexible body, allowing her to achieve a wide range of motion. She has incorporated her innate flexibility into her Love Breathing techniques. Mitsuri's superhuman flexibility is also displayed in the form of her whip-like Nichirin Sword, which is also incredibly flexible. However, only she can make use of the sword due to her pliability preventing her from getting cut while performing high speed actions that make use of incredible ranges of motion. As a Hashira, Mitsuri is an extremely fast individual. Due to her abnormal muscular constitution, Mitsuri possesses a level of physical strength superior to that of average humans even before becoming a Demon Slayer. As a Hashira, Mitsuri has attained incredible stamina and endurance due to years of extremely harsh training.)

(BREATHING STYLE: Love Breathing: A Breathing Style Mitsuri created herself based on her experience using Flame Breathing, from being a student of Kyojuro Rengoku. Love Breathing incorporates elements of Mitsuri's superhuman flexibility and her unique whip-like Nichirin Sword. Using this Breathing Style, she can unleash attacks that cover a wide range of motion as well as long ranges that a normal katana would be unable to accomplish. Love Breathing posesses at least six forms like First Form: Shivers of First Loves, Second Form: Love Pangs, Third Form: Catlove Shower, Fifth Form: Swaying Love, Wildclaw, and Sixth Form: Cat-Legged Winds of Love.)

(FIGHT STYLE: As a Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, Mitsuri is one of the most powerful and skilled swordswomen in the entire organization. Mitsuri makes use of a special swordsmanship style based around her thin and flexible Nichirin Sword akin to an urumi. Her sword is similar to a whip.)

(EQUIPMENT: Unlike most Demon Slayers, who use standard katanas, Mitsuri wields an extremely thin, flexible, and long Nichirin sword that is more akin to a whip or an urumi. It was made by Tecchin Tecchikawahara, due to its bizarre shape requiring immense expertise to craft. Due to her sword's characteristics, only Mitsuri can use it without cutting herself in the process, which can be attributed to her flexibility and fighting style. Using her whip-katana, not only is her attack range longer than the average swordsman, but she can also perform attacks that bend and weave through her targets, slashing different areas or the same area multiple times. Her whip-katana is black in color with a pink outline. It also has a smooth wavy, dark pink pattern on both sides of the outline. The katana's tsuba is shaped like a four-leaf clover; the leaves have a pink core with a golden border, with the words Destroyer of Demons (惡あっ鬼き滅めっ殺さつ, Akki Messatsu?) engraved on the side. The handle is magenta in color and wrapped in green cords that are tied to create hearts, with a magenta kashira. Despite her unique katana, Mitsuri carries around a standard sized and shaped sword sheath that is in white color; as such, due to her sword's shape, Mitsuri folds her katana multiple times to properly sheathe it.)

(BACKSTORY: Mitsuri was born in the Meiji Period, as a rather affluent family's eldest daughter (among five siblings). She displayed an unnatural strength at a very young age through her unique muscle composition, said to be eight times denser than a normal person's, which shocked even her mother who herself was known for her strength. She grew up with a larger appetite than an average person, as much as three sumo wrestlers as a child, and developed an unnatural hair color from eating too much sakura mochi, which led to her being seen as a freak and unable to proceed with a previously intended marriage when she was seventeen. After this rejection, she dyed her hair black, pretended to be weak, and forced herself to eat a normal amount in an attempt to fit in more with other girls, even if it negatively impeded her well-being. Shortly after making these adjustments to her physical appearance, Mitsuri was approached by a potential partner. However, she became doubtful over whether or not pretending to be a different person would truly work out for her in the end. At some point, her partner left her. Mitsuri then encountered Kagaya Ubuyashiki, who told her to reject normalcy and embrace who she was as her strength was a gift. Because of this encounter, she joined the Demon Slayers and used her skill and ridiculous strength to rise to the status of Hashira. While in the Corps, she also adopted her idea of finding a man stronger than her to marry, however, this did not work out because, with the exception of her fellow Hashira, she was much stronger and more skilled than the rest of her fellow members. She began working with Kyojuro Rengoku and, after realizing she couldn't master the Breathing Style which Kyojuro had taught her, she developed her own Breathing Style derived from Flame Breathing, Love Breathing.)

(OBANAI IGURO: Name: Obanai Iguro. Age: 21. Birthday: September 15th. Gender: male. Height: 5'4". Rank: Serpent Hashira. Breathing Style: Serpent Breathing. Other: Due to his upbringing, Obanai developed a fear and hatred towards women. Interacting with female Demon Slayers did not help, as their attempts to mask their past traumas made him uncomfortable. Mitsuri was implied to be the first and only woman he found to be beautiful. Obanai has the smallest appetite among the Hashira, as he can go three days without eating. Obanai's favorite food is Tororo-Kombu. Obanai's hobbies are haiku poetry and watching live-amezaiku.)

(APPEARANCE: Obanai is a young man of short stature, pale skin complexion, and a lean, muscular build. He has straight-edged, raven-black hair of varying lengths, with the longest reaching down to his shoulders, while the shortest stop at his cheekbones, which he wears down with two shorter strands hanging between his eyes. His eyes are almond-shaped and tilted upwards on the far sides, and are uniquely colored due to Obanai possessing heterochromia. His right eye is yellow with a black pupil, while his left eye is teal, with the lower rim of the iris being a lighter shade. He is partially blind, barely being able to see out of his right eye. Obanai's mouth is usually hidden with white bandages over his lower face to hide his large facial scars, which were the result of his family horrifically cutting open his mouth to resemble that of a snake's gape. Obanai wears the standard Demon Slayer Corps uniform, tinted a deep koamaru color. The uniform consists of a button-up jacket with a stand-up collar and long sleeves, adorned with gold buttons, a shirt pocket on the left breast, and the kanji for Destroy (滅めつ, Metsu?) engraved on the back of the uniform. Beneath the jacket, he wears a white long-sleeved collared undershirt. The uniform is fastened at the waist with a white belt and paired with traditional tattsuke-hakama pants in the same koamaru hue. Over his uniform, Obanai wears his signature black-and-white vertically striped haori, with the hem and cuffs are striped horizontal ways rather than vertically, which covers his hands. For legwear, instead of the standard kyahan, Obanai wraps his lower legs in white bandages, giving the visual impression of traditional kyahan wraps. He also wears another set of white bandages around his lower face. His footwear consists of white zōri sandals with purple-blue straps, worn over koamaru-colored tabi socks to match the color tint of his uniform. He is also always seen with his white snake, Kaburamaru, wrapped around his shoulders.)

(PERSONALITY: Obanai is a very harsh and strict individual who shows no concern for those who do not abide by the rules of the Demon Slayer Corps. His expectations for his fellow Demon Slayers are quite unrealistic. Obanai has a rather prominent habit of pointing at people with his finger in an accusatory manner while berating or talking unfavorably about someone. Despite his merciless personality, there are two people he cares deeply about: Kagaya Ubuyashiki and Mitsuri Kanroji. He has a crush on Mitsuri, and he often lets his feelings shine through by sharing meals with her and giving her gifts. Obanai seems to let his overprotectiveness of Mitsuri show at times, such as when he threatens Tanjiro for growing too close to her. It was implied that he has a crush on Mitsuri because of the cheerful personality she retained despite going through very hellish training. Talking with her also made him forget all the strife and conflict he had encountered during his past, making him feel as if he were an ordinary young man. Like all the Hashira, Obanai has a great deal of respect for Kagaya. Obanai is noted to possess an immense sense of self-loathing due to the fact that he was born to a selfish and immoral clan who would mercilessly sacrifice even newborns to a demon for their own monetary gain. Obanai considers himself and his family so tainted, that years after the other members were killed, he still felt as if his family were digging their nails into his skin to make sure he couldn't go anywhere. He even goes as far as to believe that, in order for him to ever be worthy of Mitsuri, he would first have to die and cleanse himself of his corrupted blood before ever confessing his feelings to her. His upbringing also seems to be the cause of his gynophobia since he was born into a family of only women who treated him like a tool. The trauma of his past can also be seen in the form of his facial bandages that he dons to cover the terrible scars he received, never removing it until the final battle. In addition to the horrible treatment he received from his family, of being treated as a mere tool and sacrifice, Obanai was deeply affected by the words of resentment and hatred from his only surviving cousin when she said that the entire family died simply because he ran away. Although he recognized that her grudge and words were illogical, he chose to accept that he was at fault and even considered himself as corrupt as his family was, believing he was not worthy to live a normal life. This shows that despite the various unpleasant traits of his personality, Obanai actually has a conscience and morals, unlike his family. Obanai has an incredible sense of determination.)

(ABILITIES: As a Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, Obanai is a very powerful and skilled combatant. It was revealed that he was more or less blind in his right eye, meaning he ascended to the highest rank in the Demon Slayer Corps with only a single functioning eye. This, in addition to his small physique and inferior physical strength when compared to his peers, made it especially impressive that Obanai managed to ascend to the title of Hashira. Obanai, having always been partially blind in his right eye, developed a combat technique utilizing his snake Kaburamaru. Kaburamaru possesses a unique ability that allows him to read and predict a target's attacks, then relay that information to Obanai. Despite his short stature and lesser physical strength when compared to the other Hashira, Obanai still possesses a significant amount of muscle power. (EQUIPMENT: Obanai carries around a heavily modified Nichirin katana similar in appearance to an Indonesian Kris, with the blade's shape modeled into a wavy blade that heavily resembles a slithering snake. It is lavender in color, with white outline. It also has a purple wavy pattern in the middle of the blade along with a white, snake-like line. His katana's tsuba has a gold circular shape engraved with two snakes connected by several plant-like patterns, and a purple boarder. His handle is lavender and decorated with a twisting wrap of purple cord, and a gold kashira. As a Hashira, the words Destroyer of Demons (惡あっ鬼き滅めっ殺さつ, Akki Messatsu?) are engraved on the side of the blade. Obanai also carries along a special scabbard made of leather held together by a weak magnetic pull that opens up whenever he uses his katana, with the scabbard is in white color. It is designed so that Obanai unsheathes his sword vertically instead of horizontally.)

(BACKSTORY: Obanai became the first male born in the Iguro clan in over 370 years and was confined because of this. His clan was full of thieves who lived off the riches that had been stolen from those killed by a demon that they worshipped which took the form of a woman with a snake-like lower body and face, having a great taste for newborn babies and is what the family had sacrificed to her in exchange for their riches. Obanai Iguro lived out the beginning of his life locked in a wooden cage being excessively spoiled by his family as they insisted on bringing him countless plates of rich food that he even became sick of it due to the overly pungent odors of the food and the poor ventilation of his room. The Serpent Demon also took a liking to Obanai, since he was a rare male child with heterochromia, and would spend the nights slithering around his cage in the dark and staring at him, which frightened Obanai so much that he couldn't sleep until the noises were gone. When he turned twelve, Obanai was finally allowed to leave his cell for the first time in his entire life. He was taken into a room that appeared to be an expensive shrine, and put face to face with the Serpent Demon for the first time, immediately causing him to shake in fear and terror at the demon's appearance. Trembling at the realization that this was the very same thing slithering in his room staring at him every night of his life, the demon remarked that Obanai was very small and decided she should wait to eat him when he was bigger. She ordered his mouth to be cut wider all the way to his ears to match hers due to her taking a "liking" him. The blood that he shed from this procedure was then collected into a chalice that she then drank from. Imprisoned back in his cell with his wound now covered by a bandage, Obanai began only to think of escape and survival upon realizing his fate. He began to scratch away at the lattice of his cell with a stolen hairpin he took from one of his relatives that he would then use during the night in order to prevent anyone from noticing his attempt to escape. Day by day he would be in a constant state of worry and fear, anxious at the possibility of what would happen if the Serpent Demon or his family would discover his attempt at freedom. The only being then that he could trust was a small snake that had somehow strayed into his cage and became his only friend, Kaburamaru. Eventually, Obanai finally manages to completely remove a wooden chunk of the bars and escaped into the night. As he ran, the Serpent Demon began to pursue him, almost catching up to him and killing him before the Flame Hashira, Shinjuro Rengoku, by chance came to his rescue. Because of Obanai's escape, the Serpent Demon had killed nearly all fifty of his relatives; the only surviving member of his bloodline was his older cousin, who had also been saved by the Hashira. When they were reunited however, she rejected him and began to violently attack and claw at him due to her blaming him for their family's deaths at the hand of the demon in result to their mistakes of allowing him to escape, screaming at him that he should have just let her eat him. Due to these harsh words from his cousin and his own sense of self loathing and guilt for having been born into such a family and allowing them to die for his survival, Obanai joined the Demon Slayer Corps and decided to turn all his rage onto whatever demons he could find, believing that he would feel like a better person if he risked his life for the sake of others and somehow ease his guilt. Despite this, he constantly felt as if his dead family would continue to drag him down despite the good deeds he accomplished as a Demon Slayer, and his lingering self loathing would haunt him everyday. After some time, Obanai had encountered someone within the Demon Slayer Corps who was distressed over getting lost; Mitsuri Kanroji. Helping the young woman to find her way around, they became acquainted and quickly became close. Obanai especially enjoyed being with Mitsuri as he felt like he was a normal boy due to her brimming optimism.)
