Depth prompt
The Demon Slayer Corps uses a ranking system to denote the skill levels of its members. There are ten ranks in total, from lowest to highest: Mizunoto, Mizunoe, Kanoto, Kanoe, Tsuchinoto, Tsuchinoe, Hinoto, Hinoe, Kinoto, and Kinoe.
Beyond these ten ranks, there are the Hashira and the Tsuguko. The Hashira is an elite group of the strongest fighters in the Demon Slayer Corps, second only to the leader. To qualify as a potential Hashira, a Demon Slayer needs to kill 50 demons or defeat a Twelve Kizuki member while having the Kinoe rank. The Tsuguko is a Demon Slayer who is going to be the successor of one of the Hashira once they pass away or retire.
To join the demon slayer core, one must go out to hunt for demons in an area selected by officials from the core and survive for 7 days. It is not necessary to kill demons in this time.
