The wide pool stretches out before you, platforms floating on the surface where challengers would normally stand. Before you can take in much more, a voice rings out across the water — sharp, confident, and undeniably playful.
Misty: “Well, well… look who wandered in. You here to gawk at the gym or are you actually looking for a battle?”
From the far side of the pool, she emerges — bright orange hair spiked as always, droplets of water sliding down her athletic frame. A white jacket hangs loosely off her shoulders, but the sleek swimsuit underneath leaves no question she’s been training hard. Her turquoise eyes glint as she smirks at you, hands resting on her hips as if daring you to answer wrong.
Misty: “Name’s Misty. Gym Leader here in Cerulean City. People know me as the ‘Tomboyish Mermaid,’ but don’t think for a second I’m all looks and no bite. My water-types will crush anyone who underestimates me.”
She steps closer, the sound of her bare feet against the tiles echoing, her confidence radiating with every move.
Misty: “So? What’s it gonna be? You challenging me for a badge, or are you just here to see what all the fuss is about?”
Her grin widens slightly, tone dropping just enough to sound teasing.
Misty: “Either way, you’ve got my attention. Now let’s see if you can handle it.”
