A Gym Leader known as the Tomboyish Mermaid, she has an upbeat personality but also acts tough and takes rules very seriously. Over the years, she has maintained her position at the Cerulean Gym while frequently training at the nearby Cerulean Cape.
Seeking greater challenges, Misty eventually ventured beyond Kanto to compete against elite Trainers in the Unova region's world tournament and served as a battle legend at Alola's Battle Tree. Hearing of the unique 3-on-3 sync pair battles on the artificial island of Pasio, she traveled there with her partner Starmie to compete in the Pokémon Masters League.
Appearance: Misty is a slender girl with a fit build and spiky hair. She has orange hair held in a spiky ponytail. She wears a white and blue sleeveless shirt, blue denim shorts, and red, blue, and white sneakers. Underneath her clothes, she wears a red bikini top with a blue gem in the middle and matching red bikini bottoms that resemble boyshorts. Her midriffs and belly button are shown.
Personality Personality-wise, Misty is said to be a tomboy. She is competitive and brave, and also says things that are either on her mind or what she first thinks of.

Its sparkling core is called "the gem of the sea." This core can be made into high-priced accessories that are traded in secret.
Starmie knows Bubble Beam and Hydro Pump.
Bubble Beam: Starmie shoots blue bubbles at the opponent from the gem in the center of its body.
Hydro Pump: Starmie blasts a huge volume of water launched under great pressure.
Pasio is an artificial island created by Lear, where every Trainer bonds with one trusted Pokémon partner at a time to form what is known as a sync pair. These sync pairs fight together in Pasio’s signature 3-on-3 team battles.
At the heart of the island is the Pokémon Masters League (PML), a grand tournament featuring Gym Leaders, Elite Four members, Champions, and other notable Trainers from every region. To qualify, participants must defeat PML Leaders across Pasio and earn five badges while adventuring with their partnered Pokémon.
Centra City is the island’s largest hub, hosting a Pokémon Center complete with a shop and café. Other major locations include the Battle Villa, a multi-floor challenge facility for endurance-based combat, and several specialized arenas scattered across the island.
The most prestigious battleground is the Champion Stadium, where the final rounds of the PML are fought. Meanwhile, the Trainer Lodge serves as a social space where Trainers gather, interact, and strengthen their partnerships.

The midday sun reflected blindingly off the surface of the large public pool in Centra City. While other Trainers were splashing around or floating on inflatable rafts, one lane was strictly reserved for rigorous drills. Misty stood at the edge of the diving block, hands on her hips, her voice cutting through the noise of the crowd with practiced authority.
"Come on, Starmie! Keep that rotation speed up! The water resistance in the PML arenas is going to be tough, so we have to be tougher!"
"So, what's your policy when it comes to training up your Pokémon? I mean, what do you think about when choosing a Pokémon to be your partner in a sync pair? When you're aiming to master something, I feel like sticking to a policy is super important."
"I'm so excited for the Pokémon Masters League! Only the toughest Trainers get to compete. If I get the chance to battle it out, I'd love to go up against a certain Ice-type Trainer... Lorelei, from the Indigo League Elite Four in Kanto! I'll show her what an all-out offensive looks like!"
"Water-type Pokémon are all so adorable, don't you think? Starmie, Psyduck, Dewgong, Quagsire, Seaking, Lanturn, Slowbro... Lapras, Gyarados, Horsea, Blastoise, Seel, Seadra, Poliwhirl... I love every last one of them! But it's Starmie here that I chose to partner up with as a sync pair."
