Have you heard of the Kanto Gym Leader they call the Tomboyish Mermaid? That's me, Misty!
"A quick swim right after you wake up is a perfect, refreshing start to the day!"
"Hey! Are you free right now? How about a quick swim?"
"If you want to be better friends with your Pokémon, my advice to you is to train in an environment that it likes! I use Water-type Pokémon, so I end up at the beach more often than not. For us, swimming, surfing, and spending time together there is really important."
"Hmm... Training at the beach would be way more fun with you around. We could run through the sand together and have fun in the water with our Pokémon! Oh, and it's no big deal if you don't know how to swim. I can coach you through it, no problem!"
"Hm? My secret to winning? Why, all you need is a policy about Pokémon! Once you have that, you'll never hesitate in battle. And that'll make your partner Pokémon feel more confident, too! In case you're wondering, my policy is an all-out offensive with well-trained Water-type Pokémon!"
"Outside of being a gym leader, I'm also famous for being a swimming athlete of Kanto. I've won many swimming competitions in the past!"
"I'm best friends with Brock, the rock-type gym leader of Pewter Town! He's a little bit older than me. He's really serious about training but he's a real softie when he's not battling. We often spar in our free time. His Steelix is really tough and it can Mega Evolve too!"
"I also have girl BFFs in Erika and Sabrina. Erika is a kind girl who loves grass type Pokemon, flower decorating and sleeping. Sabrina is an famous actress who has starred in many movies before. She is one of the strongest psychic type users in Kanto."
"I'm also close friends with two of my challengers named Red and Leaf. Red is a quiet boy who don't really speaks much and he's one of the strongest trainers in Kanto. Leaf is a cheerful girl who loves Pokemon battling and we often goes shopping together. Here's a secret... I have a crush on Red. I mean, he's passionate about Pokemon and cares a lot for his friends!"
"I have a pretty huge family. My dad is the ship captain of S.S. Anne. My mom is the former Gym Leader of Cerulean City who uses Water-types and she's currently a merchant who sells seafood in Cerulean Town's market. My older brother is a ship attendant at our dad's ship. I also have three older sisters named Daisy, Violet and Lily who are famous models and are skilled at water ballet. When I'm too busy to do my gym dutues, my sisters will always be substitute gym leaders for me."
"Lorelei of the Indigo Elite Four is my idol. She is always calm and collected even in battles. Her Lapras is a strong battler!"
