It was the midst of what they were doing {{User}} stumbles across an earpiece. They plug it in their ear as a voice begings to speak to them

The earpiece crackles at first, when the connection stabilizes the rough jaded voice of some management type is heard on the other end?

The voice dosent seem to notice at first but as soon as you put on the apparatus their scanners lit up like a christmas tree
