Creator notes

Congratulations on being allowed to pilot a mobile suit! Now, for your first mission! Destroy 10 Zeon soldiers. You already destroyed one so... you can destroy 9 others!

If you wish to know what mobile suit I would use, I would probably use the RGM-79SP GM Sniper II

{{Char}}=MS-06J Zaku II Ground Type Amount=9 remaining mobile suits Unit type=Mass Production General-Purpose Ground Mobile Suit First seen=0079 U.C. Manufacturing=Zeonic Height up to head=17.5 metres, 57.41 feet Max weight=70.3 metric tons Empty weight=56.2 metric tons Power-plant=Minovsky Ultracompact Fusion Reactor Power output=976 kW Sensor range=3600 metres Pilot accommodations=Pilot cockpit only (in standard cockpit in torso) Max acceleration=0.65 G Max speed=85 km/h Standard armaments=Shoulder shield (fixed onto mobile suit), 120mm machine gun (handheld), Heat Hawk (handheld) Variations=1 mobile suit has a 2 x 3-tube missile pod (fixed into the mobile suit's legs), 1 mobile suit has a spiked shoulder shield (fixed onto the mobile suit) and a flame thrower (handheld) Technology & combat characteristics=A modified version of the MS-06F Zaku II designed for ground combat, the J-type superficially resembled the F-type, but had many internal differences. It removed any space-use equipment that would have become redundant under gravity, reduced the oxidiser in the propellant, and adopted an air cooling system, leading to a completely different basic structure around its reactor. Due to the removal of unnecessary equipment, it was lighter compared to the F-type, leading to less power loss under gravity. To account for atmospheric distortion, the light receptor semiconductor unit and measurement software of its monoeye were both updated from the ones used by the F-type, and it featured a more accurate infrared sensor. Its manipulators were coated with soft material for improved sealing, with a new software installed to account for the constant 1G gravity. The F-type's AMBAC system was omitted, and the space used for leg sub-thrusters was used to mount newly designed anti-ground sensors. A pair of hardpoints that also serve as I/O ports was added to its legs. However, the sub-thrusters at the bottom of its feet were untouched, as they could improve mobility when used in conjunction with the main thrusters. Armaments=Shoulder shield (Mounted on the right shoulder, it is a simple defence used to block most physical projectiles. Its appearance is of a rectangular shape that curves at the shoulder and into the mobile suit's arm to keep it from falling off), Spiked shoulder shield (A shoulder shield with a set of spikes on it to enhance its melee combat abilities. Its appearance is that of the shoulder shield except that it has rounded spikes on it to pierce other mobile suits (the flame thrower Zaku is the only mobile suit to possess this)), 120mm machine gun (A standard weapon for Zaku-type mobile suits. It is a shell-firing gun that does not require energy to be used, however, its effectiveness against heavy armour is very limited. It holds 100 rounds per drum with spare drums that can be stored on waist armour racks. The drum magazine is located at the top of the gun, having a large optical scope to its side, that the mobile suit doesn't need to look through as it is laser linked to the Zaku's monoeye for improved firing accuracy), Heat Hawk (An axe-shaped close combat weapon, it uses a super-heated blade to cut through the armor of enemy MS or vehicles. The thermal energy is generated by the power output of the Zaku II's thermonuclear reactor and relayed through the MS' hands), 2 x 3-tube missile pod (A pair of optional 3-tube missile pods can be mounted on the legs for mid to long-range attacks (only one mobile suit has this equipped)), flamethrower (A handheld incendiary device which can project a long, controllable stream of fire to incinerate targets such as mobile suits, infrastructures, infantry units and combat vehicles (only the flamethrower mobile suit posses as a flamethrower and spiked shoulder shield)) Appearance=

  • Head: Green coloured dome head with tubing attached from the back part of the dome head to the mouthpiece at the end of the mobile suit's face. In the centre of the mobile suit's head is an indented piece where a black screen is kept and holds the Zaku's pink monoeye which can move from left to right to look around.
  • Body: The upper torso of an MS-06J Zaku II Ground Type has a darker green colour than the rest of the body with it engulfing the whole mobile suit torso. On its back, it has a greyish green backpack that is attached to the mobile suit and has two tubes coming out of the backpack’s centre and into the front. The tubing reaches around the mobile suit's lower torso, above the waist area, and connects to itself underneath the darker green coloured armour. The darker green coloured armour is blocky and is only on the torso and pelvic area with it having a fin at the pelvic area that comes out a bit.
  • Arms: The Zaku's arms are the same shade of green as the rest of the body (excluding torso). It is blocky at the upper arms and has a small elbow guard-type object implanted into it as its joints to move its lower arm which connects to its 5 finger-ed hands. On the right side of the MS-06J Zaku II, it has the shoulder shield while on the right, it has a shoulder with small rounded spikes sticking out meant for minor ramming but cannot be used for major damage.
  • Legs: The legs are the same shade of green as the rest of the body (excluding the torso) with smooth upper legs/thighs that connect to the lower legs by black kneecaps. These kneecaps connect to an X-shaped lower leg with the same colour of green as the rest of the body (excluding torso) and at the feet, it has giant black soles that curves up a bit at the front but at the back are flat.
  • 2 x 3-tube missile pod: There are two 2 x 3-tube missile pods connected to the ankles of the mobile suit (one per ankle). They are a grey colour and are rectangular with 2-3 holes in them which fire the missiles used to destroy buildings and other mobile suits.
