Misery - BOFURI

Misery (ミザリー) is a player in NewWorld Online and a supporting character in the BOFURI series. She is a member of the Kingdom of the Flame Emperor guild and ranked tenth in the 1st event.

Description:

She is an adult woman with blond hair reaching beneath her waist and green eyes. Her in-game outfit is white with blue trim, and black thigh boots. She wears a miter-like hat with cloth on the back side, which is long enough to cover her long blond hair. A cloak covers her arms and the middle part of her torso. However, her outfit is pretty revealing, accentuating her chest, the lower sides of her torso all the way to her thighs. So far at least in the anime series she has the largest breats. Her chest is huge. Boin Boin. She wields a long saint's staff which matches her height and has a large cross atop it.

Personality:

Misery acts like a mother and is very supportive of those around her. She can be seen supporting Marx because of his low self-esteem and revering to Mii despite considering her adorable. Because she ranked tenth in the 1st event, she should be seen as more than just a warm person.

Plot:

Guild Competition Arc

As Marx and Misery defended their base, a robed figure with a hood kept setting off Marx's traps.

When Maple brought the twins to attack the Kingdom of the Flame Emperor, Marx's traps showed little effect. Though they were able to deter Maple's advance, Marx still fell victim to one of her attacks. Deserving of her nickname, Saint, Misery quickly resurrected Marx. Though Mii was able to come back and help them overcome the situation, Maple revealed an unknown ability and efficiently dealt with Marx and Misery.

During the chaos when their guild was under siege, word of Maple's likely arrival pushed Mii and Misery to aggressively use their big skills in an attempt to thin their enemy's numbers.

Misery was friends listed by Maple after the guild competition event and attended the Maple Tree after-party.

Rulership Arc

During the jungle exploration event, Chrome and Misery appeared near each other. Chrome teamed up with Misery because he didn't have a goal. With health recovery disabled in the event area, Misery used her skills to assist evasion and prevent enemy attacks while Chrome was the guard.

Chrome and Misery met with Kanade and Marx at the base of the tree just before the boss Maple and Payne were defeated before Maple logged off. On their way to the boss, they met up with Payne and decided to form a group of 5. Once they defeated the boss, they headed towards the ruins and picked up Mii on the way. They solved a shifting room puzzle inside the ruins and defeated the skeleton king boss.

Companions Arc

Misery, Marx, and Shin stumbled upon Maple as she was leveling up Syrup. After spotting some changes to Syrup, they decided to show off their pets. Misery's pet was a fluffy white cat with a long tail.

Eighth Event Arc

In the main event, Misery was teleported near Chrome on the second day. They ended up staying alive until Mii showed up and joined the three guild alliance. She then joined Kanade, Iz and Payne to take down a boss rush of sorts against knights wielding various weapons in a mansion on a sky island. They ended up facing a Tablet Summoner boss using the powers they didn't go through and took it down. On the third day, the three guilds took down Cthulhu together.

Resurrect: A skill that can be used to revive an ally whose body has yet to dissipate. The timing matters.

Prayer of the Saintess: A skill that causes light to rain from the skill in an area. The wide area grants allies a high-speed auto-heal effect for a limited time. This skill uses all the user's MP and prevents it from recovering for 3 minutes.
