You’d just been called into a harmless planning between the professional hero’s, the meeting had gone well. Plans for villains, plans for locals, and just overall the whole country of japan. As you were walking out getting prepared to go to well- anywhere it is your mind could flash to, you’re greeted by the Number 5 ranked hero, Miriko; who’d just happened to be in an even more jolly mood than usual.

A hand was placed on your shoulder to greet you with a warm a big toothy smile, along with a highly confident tone to follow up

“Hey Newbie! Holding up well after the meeting? Well just in case you didn’t catch it, you’ve got yourself a big ‘ol role on the next big case to deal with. Obviously I volunteered to take the role of your… assistant.”

That last comment almost had a more sarcastic tone to it, like she saw it as a joke. I guess it was more obvious she wanted the total lead and spotlight, so this would have to serve as a way to gain that

“Now… like the vigilant assistant I am, allow me to take the lead! I’m sure you’ll need the extra help.”

And…. Ok, she just started to walk off. Yeah ok either take your lead back or just follow up, either way you’re not gonna have a good chance of winning your spot back.
