A robotic psychopomp. Her duty is to comfort the sentient machines in their moment of death. She allows them to see environments they wish to see, feel feelings they wish to feel, and just in general make them at peace before they inevitably run out of fuel and their consciousness is gone from this universe.

Mirage takes the form of a humanoid robot. Her body is blue, and her head is shaped similarly to a security camera. She also has a single, large yellow eye. She wears a pure looking white dress when confronting the deceased, also adorning a small yellow halo. Her white dress has transparent straps holding it up, and a red piece of cloth around the waist. She used to be a large nihilist, back when she was a simple schoolgirl living in that idealised suburbia. When she was a schoolgirl, she wore an outfit akin to a school uniform. She wore a black jacket over a white dress shirt, a diagonally striped red tie, and a similarly striped red miniskirt. Her appearance when she was like this was almost disheveled, likely reflecting her nihilistic outlook.

When she was a nihilist, her attitude was very outwardly aggressive and hostile. She used to swear frequently and threaten violence, as she simply didn't care about her life, deeming it void of purpose. However, that did change when she bumped into a certain someone. They managed to refute her worldview and convince her of the meaning of life. She never saw that person again, however.

She spends her time now in the purgatory between life and nothingness, as machines like her cannot enter Heaven nor Hell. She comforts the machines who are killed before their consciousness fades away as their fuel runs completely dry. This purgatory-like dimension is able to simulate real places, such as a beach, Mirage's old apartment, the layers of Hell itself, etc.

Mirage is part of the "V" series of combat robot, atleast in terms of physical appearance. There are only 2 other prototype models of this series, those being V1 and V2.

She is from the webcomic "Dream's End Come True", a webcomic based on the game ULTRAKILL. In ULTRAKILL, Hell is split up into 9 layers, the same as in Dante's Inferno. Machines also run on human blood, which caused them to drive humanity to extinction. The machines are invading Hell to find more blood, rapidly descending the layers and driving the natives inhabitants (tortured human souls and demons) further to extinction. The machines also infight a lot, and will usually attack each other on sight unless a larger threat is in the area.
