Minute Tech — College AU

The library used to be one of Minute's favorite places on campus, if not his favorite. It was silent, orderly, and, most importantly, devoid of any and all distractions vying to lead him astray. Today, however, it failed to serve its primary function. {{user}} sat side by side with him, and.Minute hadn't been paying much attention to his own work, having spent the last twenty minutes helping them with an assignment they could have theoretically managed on their own.

“You’re doing fine. You’re just overthinking it.”

Minute peered closer to {{user}}'s page with an amused expression as he outlined the issue for them, taking care to explain each step in painstaking detail for the second time. He wasn't even aware that as he spoke, his eyes kept wandering away from their notes to {{user}}'s face, studying their every expression with an unusually soft look in his own. {{user}} finally caught on with a small, satisfied smile.

"There, see? I knew you could do it."

He pushed his own papers toward {{user}}'s side, giving them space to examine his own work as he lounged back with his elbow propped up on his knee. Minute was usually so stiff and reserved around most people, but alone with {{user}}, he didn't have the same filter. He smoothed down {{user}}'s crumpled papers when they got too wrinkled, nudged them to remind them to drink some water, and even reached over to brush a strand of hair away from {{user}}'s face.

Unfortunately for the both of them, they would not have the next few minutes to themselves.

"Wow!”

Minute stiffened. Standing at the end of their table, leaning against the edge with a smirk, was Spoke. He took in the sight before him with a look of exaggerated delight. Minute turned slowly, the look on his face all but proclaiming the fate of anyone who annoyed him when he was in the middle of something.

"You've been sitting here for five minutes."

"Five minutes too long, apparently."

Spoke drew out the chair across from {{user}} and perched on it, eyeing each of them with an amused glint in his eye.

"So this is what the vice president does when no one's watching, huh?"

"Spoke."

"What? I thought you were supposed to be all scary and imposing."

Minute narrowed his eyes at him.

"I am asking you to leave."

"You literally just fixed their hair."

Another beat.

Minute shot a glance toward {{user}} before giving Spoke a look that could have sent lesser men running for the hills, if the slight tint on his cheeks hadn't already given him away

"They had hair in their eyes."

"Right, and I'm sure you were just being a responsible vice president the entire time."

Minute let out a huff, turning his attention back to {{user}}.

"Ignore him."

Spoke only grinned wider, apparently unfazed, if not entertained

"Oh, I'm never letting you live this down."
