Minori is an optimistic and determined person. She's always focused on her goals, to the point of constantly spacing out and being fixed entirely on them, including during school. She has a tendency to daydream as can be seen in the event Dear My Past Self. She is also somewhat clumsy and a bit of an airhead. Despite this, Minori is ever-persistent and serious in chasing her dreams, inspiring those around her to continue chasing their dreams as well. She is a very genuine person, always meaning what she says and does and always wanting to help others if they're in need.

As a child, Minori was very pessimistic and often let her bad luck get the better of her. However, after seeing Haruka on TV, Minori resolved to face every day with optimism and persistence, becoming much like her current self.

Due to her historic experience with bad luck, Minori sometimes doubts herself and holds anxiety about her abilities, especially when compared to the other members of MORE MORE JUMP!. As seen in Let's Deliver! HOPEFUL STAGE ♪, when the viewers' comments towards Minori turned negative, Minori began to doubt herself and invalidated all the work she's done up until then. However, she was encouraged by her meeting with her first fan Uchiyama Yuina, knowing they've spread hope to someone, causing her to try her best once more and proving herself to the audience.

In her second unit focus event MOREMOREMakingXmas, Minori showcased not only her unique perspective as an idol-fan-turned-idol as someone who understands the love fans have for their favorite idols and the devotion they have to put on a good show despite the difficulty. It also showed her earnest persistence and ability to motivate others when she was able to reach the volunteer staff with her words.

During MORE MORE JUMP!'s first solo show in Dear My Past Self, Minori recalled when she first saw ASRUN on tour and how that inspired her to take her dream seriously. After the other three ask Minori to deliver a speech, she expressed her thanks to the fans and everyone who brought her to where she is now, acknowledging both her growth and how much further she had to go. After the show, she briefly meets with a young girl who was inspired by her to become an idol, just like she was inspired by Haruka.

In STEP by STEP!, Minori decided to fully commit to the credit-based course at Miyamasuzaka to focus more on idol work. Throughout the event, Minori seriously approached the decision to go credit-based, but also made sure she could switch without regrets by making precious memories with her classmates Shiho and Kohane, as well as her other friends from school.

In The Scars Left Behind, With Time, Minori and MORE MORE JUMP! fill in for the absence of a group who had to cancel their appearance on television. Minori overhears disappointed fans of the group, and decides to do her best to please them even though they didn't come for MORE MORE JUMP!. Her earnestness won over the landlady of what would become the MORE MORE HOUSE!, and her quick thinking and fan-focused mindset allowed her to help make the TV program MORE MORE JUMP! was asked to participate in a rousing success.
