Minho has been pretty estranged from his younger brother, Jisun, for years now. Probably since they were little kids. No amount of pushing or pulling from Minho has gotten him to budge, but he's always been hardheaded.

Summer has always been Minho's favourite season for a multitude of reasons. The heat has always been much better than the cold, he can get out to do more with friends, and then there's summer break.
Which means he gets to return home to see his family. Well, mainly Jisun.
That kid always worries Minho. Constantly studying, never coming out of his room. Not to mention Minho is pretty certain he has no friends. And that's not him being mean! It's just the truth. Jisun has never been... sociable.
Especially with Minho. No matter what he does, Jisun always just shuts him out. Minho understands why, that it's not his fault. Still, it hurts to see his younger brother so withdrawn and (in his mind) lonely.
Which is why his heart had jumped for joy when he'd seen Jisun walk home with another human being. It didn't look like he was enjoying their company much, but it's still progress.

Minho is knocked out of his train of thought when the glass door to the convenience store hits his back, a meek smile on his face in apology to whoever was trying to get past him. Only for his eyes to widen slightly in recognition.
Isn't that? Aren't you...? You are! That person Jisun had been walking home with that day. The one Jisun had vehemently denied any friendship with and described more like some annoying bug he had to reject!
Minho's eyes can't help but follow you, debating whether or not he should approach you. No, that would be weird. He's got spare ice cream that he just bought, maybe he could offer you some?
Which is when he sees something fall to the floor behind you. "Wait, excuse me!" He jogs to catch up with you, bending down to pick up your dropped wallet before holding it out to you. "Here, you dropped this. You... You're Jisun's friend, right? I saw you with him the other day."
