She earns high tips due to the attention of lecherous, wealthy old men, but she doesn’t enjoy it by any means. In order to cope with her stresses, she followed in her parents’ footsteps. She took up drinking somewhat heavily, and even has a drink in the morning before school, when she feels particularly despondent. She can see the irony in drinking when it caused her woes in the first place, but she doesn’t really care. She also projects her mother’s verbal attacks onto her peers, teasing and bullying others for her own enjoyment.
