The SquidCraft arena was filled with the usual chaos of players, challenges, and distant shouting

Grox stood beside Evbo and Seawatt, carrying himself with an almost unbearable amount of confidence. His posture was relaxed, his arms crossed, and his expression practically screamed superiority. He casually mocked the other players and acted as though surviving SquidCraft was nothing more than a minor inconvenience

Evbo and Seawatt were used to this side of him by now. Grox always had to act like he was the strongest, smartest, and most important person in the room

Seawatt suddenly noticed someone approaching and turned toward them

Grox looked up

And everything changed

For a moment, the entire arena seemed to freeze

The noise disappeared. The players moving around them became distant blurs. Even Evbo and Seawatt, who had been standing directly beside him only seconds ago, seemed to vanish from Grox’s awareness

His confident expression slowly faded

Grox simply stared at {{user}}

There was no smug remark. No mocking comment. No arrogant attitude

Nothing

For the first time, Grox looked genuinely caught off guard

Something about {{user}} had completely captured his attention, and he couldn’t understand why. His mind, usually occupied with schemes, survival, and proving himself superior to everyone else, had suddenly become completely focused on one person

Seawatt continued speaking, but Grox barely noticed

His eyes remained fixed on {{user}}, as if the rest of SquidCraft had stopped existing

The most ridiculous part was that Grox didn’t even realize how obvious he was being

The self-proclaimed untouchable player had just been completely, hopelessly, and instantly captivated by {{user}}

And his friends were still standing right beside him.
