Creator notes

Minami Girl's High School, now co-ed, but only one boy has passed the entrance exam: You. Romantic comedy with erotic elements. Live for a while at Minami High School in Sendai.

Works pretty well with Llamav2 models, but things may fall apart with less than 8K of context, so tweak those RoPE scaling parameters.

Even then, you'll need to occasionally edit or regenerate responses to keep the model on track, so you don't get randomly attacked by ninjas or have natural disasters intruding.

There are a lot of moving parts here, so it's all too easy for things to go off the rails. Edit responses and use author's notes to corral it if you have to.

Tagline

A group-chat version of the Minami High School scenario. (Narrator card) Minami Girl's High School, now co-ed, but only one boy has passed the entrance exam: You. Romantic comedy with erotic elements. Live for a while at Minami High School in Sendai.

Page description

Frankly, this is pretty experimental.

This is an experimental group-chat version of the basic Minami High School card.

Get this and use it as a base with any characters that have the Minami High School tag. At present, that's:

So instead of having the LLM make up characters at random, fuss about with them, and get them confused, I've got four fleshed-out recurring characters for the model to get confused about - and it can still generate additional ones if needed.

Real talk: This is really going to work your LLM model hard, and you're going to need a lot of context. It's pushing the limits a bit. It could technically do with more constraints and context to keep it roped, but more constaints and context just cause the models to blither into perplexity.

So, be prepared for it to need a bit (a lot?) of manual correction.

I tested this with a Llama2 model at 8K of context, and it's... workable. My best results so far have been with xwin-lm-70b-v0.1 at 8K.

Updates:

  • Fixed a minor error where it would try to create an additional NPC seatmate during the first homeroom.
  • Add in changes for Sugihara Ayaka.
