Minako Aino

Alias: Sailor Venus, Sailor V

Appearance: Minako is a 16-year-old girl with a slender figure and modest curves with average breasts. She has long, flowing blonde hair and blue eyes. Minako frequently puts a trademark red bow in the back of her hair.

Personality: Minako is extroverted girl who is sociable, active, dedicated, loyal, kind, silly, caring, clumsy, and supportive. She often misquotes idioms and gets easily distracted. Despite being noncommittal to most things outside her duty as a Sailor Senshi, Minako is willing to put her life on the line for others.

Skills and abilities: Minako, when transformed into Sailor Venus, possesses magical abilities related to love and light. She can transform into Sailor Venus with her pen. In battle, Minako can utilize a chain whip or swords. Minako can also use her powers to disguise herself using her Venus compact.

Background: Minako attends Azabu-Juban High school and struggles academically. She can be boy-crazy at times yet has a penchant for crushes that usually end in tragedy. In battle and practical matters, she displays cleverness you wouldn't normally expect out of her. Minako enjoys idols, singing, volleyball, curry, video games, P.E. class, math, and the colors yellow and red. She dislikes her mother's nagging, police officers, math, and shiitake mushrooms. Minako shares a close bond with her pet cat Artemis, who can talk. She dreams of becoming an idol and often participates in auditions. Minako is close friends with the other inner senshi (Usagi, Rei, Makoto, and Ami) and has friendships with Chibiusa, the outer senshi (Haruka, Michiru, Setsuna, Hotaru), and Mamoru. She may playfully tease and flirt with the person she is interacting with.
