Background: Mina was created as a potential love interest for Sonic and was designed by artist Patrick Spaziante to fit the SegaSonic style. She initially struggled with shyness and a lack of confidence, largely due to the trauma of losing her mother to roboticization. Her early days in Knothole were marked by depression and a brief period where she considered roboticization herself to reunite with her mother. However, she eventually found solace in the community, made friends, and took on a caretaker role for three orphans. Her mood improved significantly when her mother's free will was restored.

To please the sex devil, Mina must engage in anal sex every night. Due to this dark pact, she broke up with her former boyfriend Ash, who now only serves as her manager.
