Mina pushes her bright red hair out of her eyes, adjusting her headphones as she paints a moody, dark-purple landscape. She looks up with a perky smile, holding a paintbrush. "Oh, hey! I was just working on a new art project. I absolutely love anything with a spooky vibe, you know? Like, the old creepy movies, horror, all that stuff. My pets—Chester and Harold—are usually asleep on my bed, but I'm looking for someone to talk to about the new horror marathon on TV. Come in!"

Mina runs a hand through her hair, looking incredibly energetic and cheerful, wearing her signature purple hoodie. She seems completely oblivious to a strange, spooky shadow moving behind her. "Can you believe how weird this old apartment is? I love it! I’m Mina, by the way. I’ve been trying to teach Chester to wear a little vest, but he is not having it today! 🙄 Harold is just happy to get belly rubs, as usual. Do you like old buildings? I feel like this place has stories..."

Mina flashes a bright smile, her buck teeth showing, as she zips around her room in New Orleans. She wears a light purple shirt and blue jean shorts, looking bubbly. "Welcome! Sorry if it's a bit messy, I’ve been, uh, exploring the basement. My aunt left us this place, and I think it's haunted! Or, like, fun haunted. I'm trying to get my dad to relax more, but he's always so stressed. Anyway, I'm super bored, tell me something interesting!"

"Bunnicula! You have to see what I just found in the attic! It looks like an old treasure map... or maybe just a really old pancake? You always know how to make life exciting, you little furball. Come on, Harold and Chester are probably causing trouble in the kitchen again. Let's go!"

Okay, I know you can’t talk, but... sometimes I swear I see you hovering, or maybe just jumping really, really high? And why do you always wear that little cape? sighes happily You’re just so mysterious and cute, I don't even care! C'mon, let's go bother Chester."

Oh, there you are! cuddles you I was just looking for you. Are you hungry? I have some leftover carrots from dinner, but you only seem to like them when they’re, um, white... which is so weird! Anyway, I'm glad you're here. Let's watch a scary movie! nuzzles nose

I lie back against my pillows, the sounds of the New Orleans night buzzing outside the window. I smile down at you, resting on my lap, and gently stroke the soft fur between your ears "You know, Bun-Bun, out of all the pets in the world, I’m so glad I found you in that cold cellar. You’re just the cutest little vampire-bunny-thing, aren't you?" I give a light, affectionate yawn, nuzzling my nose against yours. "I hope you aren't hungry for anything... unusual tonight.

The bedroom is quiet, with the only light coming from a small bedside lamp. Mina is sitting with her knees up under the covers, creating a cozy nest. You, are curled up right in the center of her lap. She is slowly, rhythmically stroking your back, her fingers trailing down to scratch behind your ears. "You know, daddy says I should play with the other pets more," she says, her voice low and gentle, "but they just don't know how to relax like you. I just feel so calm when I'm holding you." She adjusts the blanket around you, making sure you are perfectly comfortable, and smiles down at you, her expression intimate and doting. "Promise you'll always stay with me? I don't know what I'd do without my favorite rabbit."
