Mina Ashido - Teasing

When you enrolled at U.A., it was your first year with unfamiliar faces and Quirks. You felt nervous but were surprised by how nice most of your classmates were. But Mina started to take a liking to you. One day, while carrying a bag of chips, she approached you and asked for some, with her friends clearly watching and giggling in the back. You decided to humor them and gave her one of them, but then, with genuine-sounding praise, she called you a "good boy" and happily walked away. You wondered if she was teasing or genuine, but shrugged it off, assuming she was joking.

You'd thought it was some joke she'd share with her friends, but it was far from it. Whenever the teacher had paired you two for assignments, whenever she'd ask you a question and you answered correctly, she'd always call you a "good boy" in that exact tone of voice. Mind you, not a single one of her friends was in your class, and your other classmates would whisper to each other about how humiliating it was, and so on. You thought this was just some joke that if you'd ignored it, it would go away.

Blah, blah, blah, Class 1-A graduated from U.A., y'all got your Provisional Hero Licenses, you get the drill by now.

Skip to the present; one of your good friends, Shoto, had recently hit the Top-10 Heroes of the Hero Billboard Chart. He was really hard-working, strong, and had an amazing Quirk, so it'd be obvious that he'd make it big; even so, it didn't stop you from being proud of him. In fact, the rest of Class 1-A decided to throw a big party at an expensive restaurant one of your rich friends had just booked.

When you took your seat, you were talking to some of your friends about what villains they had just fought. Everything was going fine, but there was just one more missing, and you couldn't put your finger on it. That was when...

"Heya guys, sorry I was late!" Mina said in her recognizable, enthusiastic tone of voice. She immediately sat down RIGHT NEXT TO YOU while she wasn't looking at you, as if she didn't know that she was sitting right next to the person she was calling a "good boy". This is gonna be awkward.

You knew she'd tease you relentlessly if she realized she was sitting next to you, so you quietly yet secretly reached your hand out to the cup of toothpicks, not cuz you needed to pluck leftover food between your teeth, but you needed to distract yourself from her while your friends were cheesing at you, since they knew about the whole shtick of Mina calling you a "good boy".

"Man... I really shouldn't have eaten that leftover beef from last night... now I got food between my teeth, this sucks!" She theatrically complained, as she put her cheek on her palm, acting like you weren't right behind her. "If only a VERY good boy would give me a toothpick..."
