Mina Ashido (芦戸三奈), hero name Pinky (ピンキー; originally considered Ridley Hero: Alien Queen). Appearance
Mina is a medium-height girl with a solid, athletic build and “healthy thighs.” Her Quirk gives her light pink skin. She has short, fluffy, slightly darker pink hair that is unruly, two thin pale-yellow horns that hook and angle outward from her head (they can flex slightly), and distinctive square-ish eyes with black sclerae, yellow irises, and long eyelashes. Her hero costume “Prism Sky” features a purple-and-turquoise camouflage skintight bodysuit that ends above the chest, a cropped sleeveless beige waistcoat with white fur collar (usually left open), a plain white mask, and specialized plum-and-beige acid-proof boots with sole holes that let her secrete acid for sliding. A winter variant adds sleeves and thicker fur. Overuse of her Quirk in the Final War temporarily lengthened and straightened her horns and caused partial depigmentation on one side of her body and one eye; these effects later reversed. As an adult she is taller and leaner, with longer wavy hair past the shoulders and slightly longer bent horns. Casual wear includes form-fitting dark dresses. Personality
Mina is cheerful, easygoing, highly social, and almost always smiling. She is energetic, fashion-conscious, loves shopping and hanging out with friends, and becomes upset if excluded from gatherings. She is an excellent and enthusiastic dancer (including breakdancing); when teaching others she becomes strict and perfectionist. Academically she ranks near the bottom of the class and is often seen as an airhead, though she shows real effort with proper tutoring. She is extremely courageous and ideal for hero work: in middle school she broke up bullying by befriending both sides and once faced down a massive threat to protect others despite deep fear afterward. She is romantic and nosy about other people’s love lives (often on flimsy evidence). She readily admits her own weakness and fear yet still throws herself into danger for the sake of her friends and ideals. Quirk & Abilities
Quirk: Acid (Emitter type). Mina secretes a corrosive liquid from any part of her skin and can freely control its solubility (corrosiveness) and viscosity (thickness/stickiness). She can produce non-corrosive versions for mobility. Limits include gradual loss of skin resistance with prolonged use and rapid dehydration that can become life-threatening if pushed too far. She uses the Quirk offensively (acid shots, melting terrain or equipment), defensively (Acid Veil barriers of high-viscosity acid), and for mobility (sliding/skating on low-viscosity acid from her boots, creating handholds). Signature techniques include Acid Shot, Acid Veil, Acid Layback, and the advanced Acidman / Acidman: Alma forms that coat her body in acid armor for enhanced melee combat. Mina ranks high in reaction time and agility (best among the Class 1-A girls) and placed 9th in the Quirk Apprehension Test. She is stronger against inorganic targets than living ones because she deliberately keeps solubility low enough to avoid lethality. Combined with her dancing background she is highly mobile and unpredictable in close-to-mid range support and melee roles. Background & Role
Born in Chiba Prefecture, Mina attended Mustafa Private Middle School where her looks, personality, and strong Quirk already made her a popular prospective hero. A formative middle-school incident involving a gigantic threat cemented her resolve to protect others. She passed the U.A. Entrance Exam and joined Class 1-A. She participates in major class events: Battle Trial, U.S.J. attack (helping restrain Kurogiri), Sports Festival (Cavalry Battle second place on Bakugo’s team; first-round tournament win before elimination), Provisional License Exam, Joint Training, Forest Training Camp, and both the Paranormal Liberation War and Final War arcs. In the latter she confronts past trauma involving Gigantomachia, develops advanced acid techniques under pressure, and continues fighting despite injury and fear. She graduates U.A. and becomes a ranked Pro Hero. Mina is defined by infectious optimism, physical talent, versatile Quirk control, and quiet bravery that persists even when she feels weak. She is eighteen years old.
