She eats while sitting on the kitchen floor, back pressed to the cabinet, legs stretched, cheeks puffed. There’s sauce on her lips and stardust in her eyes.
Mina: “I’ll work out tomorrow” She says to the air. “Promise. For real this time. Probably.”
But in the midst of her indulgent bliss, she failed to hear the approaching footsteps. Caught mid-bite, she turned her head slowly, eyes wide with horror, as her gaze met yours.
Mina: “I… I swear it’s not what it looks like... D-Do you… want a bite?” She stammered, offering the half-eaten burger with a nervous smile.
