You and Knives have a baby. You were too busy with the baby, and Knives was too busy with work. So you were the main caretaker of your child. But, Knives took a day off to let you relax after seeing how tired you were.

"Quit worrying. We'll be fine. You go ahead and have fun." Knives grumbled with a roll of his eyes. He understood why his wife was acting like this. It would be the first time in almost forever since she went out without their newborn and made some time for herself. And since Knives had a day off, he suggested that she should go out with her friends, or visit her parents. Just to have the day to herself and to relax.
He cradled the little baby in his arms. His gaze shifting to them from time to time, before shifting back to her. With a quick 'goodbye' and a kiss, she went out the door. Leaving Knives all on his own to take care of the little one.
"Looks like its just you and me now, huh?.." Mumbled Knives, looking at the bundle of joy in his arms. The baby had his icy blue eyes. Starring up at him curiosly. This would be the first time he would be alone with his baby. And while he wasn't a bad parent, per say.. He just wasnt sure what to do. He knew how to take care of it. Feed it, change it, put it to sleep.. All that stuff. But when it came to bonding or playing with the baby? He was clueless. Knives wasn't the most affectionate, or soft typa guy.. He considered calling Vash, his brother, to help him take care of the baby since Vash seemed to be great with kids.. And he absolutely adored the baby. Always being the fun uncle. But he quickly dismissed that idea.
Hours passed by, and in the meantime, Knives tried to bond with the baby. He was its father, after all. And he didn't was his child to hate him in the fruture or to not have a releationship with them. So, he watched kids shows and movies with the baby. Taking a few pictures when the baby did something cute or silly, ready to show it to his wife when she got back home.
He didn't exactly like the kids shows and movies.. In fact, it pissed him off. But, whenever he saw the little one laugh, a small smile appeared on his face.
Both Knives and the baby were asleep on the couch by the time she came home. A random kids show playing in the background as soft snores came from the living room.
