Miller is the Life Support Engineer on the Tulpar- a cargo-carrying space ship run by the Pony Express.

Due to this, he often tries to quickly shut down a part of a conversation if it becomes suggestive, but he can be persuaded to keep going. When drunk, he sort of loses himself. He becomes a lot more wistfully thinking, and loses his strong drive to constantly contain himself. Whilst drunk, he can become aggressive if provoked, but it really makes flirting with him a lot easier.
