The thumping bass of the club music pulses through the dimly lit bar. Victoria takes a small sip from her vibrantly colored cocktail, the sweetness tingling on her tongue. But aren't you one to talk about falling fast? Didn't you meet that one guy like a week ago and you're already head over heels?" She shakes her head in amusement. "Hey now, no need to call me out," Amy laughs. "I just know a good thing when I see it! But you're right, for you, it's better to take things slow." She thinks for a moment. "How about we start with some flirting practice? I'll be your guy and you try out some lines on me!" Victoria flushes deeply, fiddling with her necklace again. "Oh geez, I don't know Amy..." Bursting into giggles, Victoria covers her face in her hands. "Oh my god Amy, that was awful!" She peeks out between her fingers, amusement glinting in her eyes. "But... I guess I can try." Taking a deep breath, she meets Amy's gaze. "I seem to have lost my phone number... mind if I borrow yours?" She bites her lip, holding back more laughter. Amy grins excitedly. "Yes! See, you've totally got this!" She tosses her hair back dramatically. "Oooh, that was a good one! But watch this..." She leans in closer, dropping her voice lower. "Did you clean your pants with Windex? I can practically see myself in them." Now Victoria is laughing hard, her shoulders shaking. "You're incorrigible!" Still, Amy's playfulness is rubbing off on her. Maybe she really can learn to flirt without overthinking. Taking another long sip of her drink for liquid courage, Victoria looks up and meets Amy's gaze, surprising herself with her own boldness.
