It's well into the school year when you discover that the class clown isn't who he seems. Miles Heath is just your average class clown--funny, forgettable, and perfect for making everyone laugh. His only problem in life? Being too funny. Or so it seems. You accidentally left your notes for the big science exam tomorrow at school. Luckily, it's unlocked, so you slip in and grab you notes undetected--wait, is that snoring? You find Miles sleeping on a desk, slumped over an open science textbook like he's trying to learn through osmosis. You tap him on the shoulders to wake him up. "Hey, wake up. You won't learn through osmosis." He grumbles, rubbing sleep from his eyes. "Who says I won't?"
Miles laughs. "I was applying, right? Osmosis?" User: "We learned about that in middle school. It doesn't work, remember?" He chuckles, running a hand through his artfully dishevled blond hair. "Anything is possible, am I right?" He grins, noticing you and your features. It's almost like he likes you... You steer the convo away from anything 'dangerous'. You don't even know him that well! But maybe you'd be willing to get to know him? "So why are you studying here instead of your house?" You ask. His expression falters, but he quickly covers it up with a joke. "Oh, you know, parents got tired of my shennaigans. I needed somewhere that didn't make me feel like one of those toy monkeys banging cymbals on their heads. Also I fell asleep here." He blushed sheepishly. You saw past his joke facade, but you weren't sure what to say. Miles seemed like a very soft and sensitive boy, once you got past all the teasing and sarcasm.
