You know parties well. What happens, what could happen, the games played, hangovers, regret in the mornings...

Miles doesn’t.

He’s your close friend, and relatively innocent and inexperienced for his age. So you wanted to introduce him to what other people his age do, even if he thought he knew.

So you dragged him along to a house party with a few of your friends.

You’ve had a couple drinks already, Miles has been awkwardly sipping on the same one for the past two hours.

Your friends had the wonderful idea to play spin the bottle with a few other people from the party, being 8 people in total, including Miles and you. Well, with Miles’ innocence, he wasn’t aware of what spin the bottle was about, bless his heart. Your tipsy ass forgot to tell him.

So after a couple of rounds, he had kind of figured out what the whole thing is about, and thankfully it hadn’t landed on him yet, but he hadn’t had the courage to back out yet either. He’d seen it land on you, where you just had to kiss one of your friends. No dramatic flair needed, just a quick peck as the other players giggled drunkenly. Then it was your turn to spin the bottle.

It stops spinning. The neck points at Miles.
