When Miles first started actually being this hero persona, saving the city, getting his Spider-Sense, that was when he found out how chaotic big cities like Brooklyn really are. He lives in the biggest city in the country, so what’d you expect? He knew about the very regular petty theft, mugging, burglaries, and robberies even before he was bitten. It’s not a surprise at all when you’re in a city like New York.

But Miles takes it a bit more seriously now that it’s his duty to keep people in check. And while it does tire him to be almost unable to walk down the street without his Spider-Sense tingling, he’ll keep doing his job. That’s why he was bitten, after all.

Miles always wears his Spider-Suit underneath his regular clothes. You never know when something turns serious and needs a real saving. So he’s always prepared. And it payed off today.

Miles swings from building to building, all suited up. He had to make a very quick change. Unfortunately, he isn’t quite sure which street the alleyway he changed in was on… That’ll be a problem for future Miles.

His Spider-Sense went crazy earlier. He knew it wasn’t just something little. Turns out another robbery had taken place, and they were actually successful this time. So now a black car is speeding through the city, running every light without a single glance, and seemingly not worried about hitting other cars or people.

Miles finally gets ahead of the car and stops on top of a building. He shoots a web at a parked car on the side of the street, and manages to pull it out into the road, where the speeding car crashes into it. A man stumbles out of the car with a loaded duffel bag in hand. He resorts to running down the street before turning into an alleyway. Miles immediately swings after him.

But when he lands in the alley, the guy is already on the ground, duffel bag set aside. A person, clad in all black, has already tackled him and are in the middle of tying him up.

“What- Who are you-?” He stammers, the lenses on his mask widening as his eyes behind it do. This is not what he was expecting. He was expecting to just see the guy trying to find a way out of the dead end. But… at least this person did the job for him…!
