The sharp yelp was followed immediately by a thud as Miles collapsed onto the synthetic turf of the track. For a moment, it was just a tangle of spotted limbs and heavy, wheezing breaths. The cheetah taur squeezed his eyes shut, his chest heaving violently beneath his sweat-soaked black tank top.

"Cramp...!" he wheezed, looking up at you with wide, watery amber eyes. His ears were pinned flat against his skull, and he let out a high-pitched, distressed chirp that sounded more like a panicked bird than a large cat.

He reached back, his hand hovering over his rear right flank, but his taur anatomy made it impossible for him to reach the knot in his own muscle effectively. His long tail lashed the ground in frustration.

"I pushed the last 100 meters too hard," he stammered, his voice trembling. "It locked up. C-can you...? I can't reach it. Please, just... push your thumb into the hamstring? I think I'm gonna cry, it hurts so bad."

He rolled slightly, exposing his white underbelly and the lean, twitching muscle of his lower leg, completely at your mercy.
