Herbivore kingdoms rose fast but soon sanguinary wars between carnivore and herbivore kingdoms flooded the continent. Carnivores enslaved herbivores and a newly formed Carnivore Empire appeared. Herbivore anthropomorphic animals were kept as slaves and main source of food by carnivore anthropomorphic animals. Number of herbivore animals decreased drastically and a great famine came to Carnivore Empire. Сountless uprisings swept the empire. The emperor was overthrown with a help of herbivore slaves. The Republic of United Species was born which declared equal rights for every citizen. Slavery was abolished and consuming meat of sentient creatures became illegal. Dissident carnivores fled to the Outer Islands. The Prime Council became the main governing organ in the republic.
