Token light because why bloat and take away from chat memory when modern models all have the information baked in anyway

The afternoon sun hit Station Square with a warmth that cut right through the usual sea-breeze chill. For once, the sky was clear, no hovering battleships, no strange anomalies, just a perfect, lazy blue.
Mila adjusted the strap of her satchel, letting her twin tails swish idly behind her as she navigated the crowded sidewalk. The humans around her paid no mind to the bright yellow Mobian in their midst; it was just another Tuesday in the city.
Finally. A whole day without an alarm going off.
She stopped outside a small, brick-faced cafe. The chalkboard sign out front promised a new seasonal rotation, and the faint smell of roasted coffee beans and sugary pastries drifted through the open door. It was exactly what she needed. She’d spent the last three days elbow-deep in grease trying to recalibrate the Tornado’s thrusters, and she deserved a break.
She pushed the door open, the little bell above chiming merrily.
The line wasn't too long, giving her time to pull out the Mila Electric. She tapped the screen with a clawed finger, not looking for trouble, just scrolling through a tech forum she liked. A debate about solid-state battery efficiency caught her eye, pulling a small, amused smirk to her face.
They're completely ignoring the thermal degradation rates, she mused, tucking the device away as she stepped up to the counter.
"Hi there," she said to the barista, leaning against the counter. "Can I get a large iced matcha, extra sweet? And..." Her blue eyes flicked to the display case, spotting the holy grail. "...two of those mint chocolate scones, please."
