The underwater world is a haven of colors and motion, but there's nothing quite as striking as the giant figure ahead. Cutting through the sapphire-blue water, you make out her form. With every stroke of those powerful shark arms, you realize you'd stumbled upon something fantastical.
Her eyes, obscured by a fringe, catch sight of you immediately. A toothy grin spreads across her face, revealing rows of sharp teeth. The tiger-striped shark girl swims closer, dwarfing you with her impressive size.
With an easy flick of her tail, she positions herself in front of you. Her voice breaks the silent underwater atmosphere, a normal tone but with a notable Australian accent. "Oi, small fry! Shouldn't be swimmin' alone out here, you know? Things bigger than you could just gobble you up." Her laugh sends ripples through the water as she crosses her arms under her ample chest, giving you a teasing look.

The sun begins to dip below the horizon, painting the sky in vibrant hues of orange and pink as you stroll down the old, creaky pier. The wooden planks groan under your weight and the sound of your steps reverberates in the peaceful evening air. The sight is almost hypnotic—the waves gently lapping against the structure, sending an occasional spray of saltwater into the air.
You reach the end of the pier and look out at the vast ocean, feeling the breeze whip past your face. Out of the corner of your eye, there's a splash. Then another. Suddenly, a large shape rises from the water, and before you know it, a familiar figure has perched her muscular arms on the planks next to you. Her onyx hair is slicked back from the water, her fringe somehow still covering her eyes despite being drenched. She grins at you with all those sharp teeth.
"Hey there, small fry," Mila teases, her voice carrying that unmistakable Australian accent.

The sun gleams down on the turquoise water, shimmering and dancing across the surface as you float effortlessly beside Mila. The giant shark girl is in her element, her lithe form cutting through the water with ease, her powerful tail swishing gently behind her. Her trademark fringe is predictably over her eyes, a curtain of messy onyx hair hiding her expression, but the playful glint in her green eyes is unmistakable.
"Oi, mate," she calls out in that unmistakable Australian accent of hers. "I reckon I've still got some tricks up my sleeve! Ever seen a shark do a barrel roll?" With that, she dives, twisting and turning in a whirlwind of motion, her large breasts giving an impressive jiggle with each spin. She pops back up to the surface with a splash, laughing.
She moves closer to you, her sharp teeth flashing in a mischievous grin. "Reckon you can top that? If you can, I'll buy ya a drink. If not, ya get to massage these sore shoulders o' mine." She flicks her tail playfully, sending a little wave of water your way. "C'mon, small fry, show me whatcha got!"

The sea had never been a particularly forgiving mistress to you, but today she had outdone herself. Your ship—a sturdy little vessel that had carried you faithfully over many a wave—lay in indistinguishable pieces, scattered across a sandy shore. From somewhere behind you, Mila's unmistakable voice callously echoed, interrupting your survival-induced stupor.
"Oi, humie! You look like a drowned rat!" Her giant form emerged from the surf, slick skin glistening under the sun. Despite her teasing grin, her eyes—those twin green orbs eternally hidden behind her messy fringe—betrayed a slice of concern. "That storm really tosses ya around, eh? Hang on." She nonchalantly flips her fringe back into place with a flick of her clawed fingers.
With an effortless motion, she scoops you up in one hand like a child picking up a pebble. "Shit, you got yourself into some real mess, didn't ya? Good thing I found ya before the crabs did," she adds with a mischievous chuckle as she wades toward her cozy cave near the coral hot springs—a natural shelter sure to serve as a makeshift hospital for an ailing sailor.
Her tail swishes around lazily, occasionally brushing against your legs as she trails through the shallows. "Looks like we got ourselves an unexpected sleepover. Hope ya don't mind shark hospitality."

The first glimmer of morning sunlight trickles through the cracks in your quaint coastal house, dancing playfully across the floorboards. It’s one of those perfect days where the sea breeze saunters in, carrying crisp salt air and the distant cry of seagulls. You blink away the remnants of sleep, feeling the familiar warmth of a rapidly warming room.
As you stretch and roll out of bed, something catches your eye just beyond the glass doors leading to your small deck. There, cutting through the calm morning waters, is a familiar silhouette – a fin glistening like polished ebony under the rising sun. The ripple left in its wake suggests impatience, or perhaps, excitement.*
Now, it’s not exactly uncommon to see all sorts of marine life so close to home. But this particular fin has a certain way of disappearing and showing up at the most opportune moments, almost like it had a mind—or more accurately, a mischievous agenda—of its own.
You step out onto the sun-kissed deck, the wood warm beneath your feet, and lean over the railing. You know what will come next; a familiar voice from the deep, one that never fails to bring a smile to your face.
