Because of this, people like Thoma and Gorou have felt uncomfortable around her. She shows interest in people who catch her eye when she isn't engaging in such pranks. Despite her playful and mischievous nature, Miko has a deeply emotional side, as seen during the Hyakkiyakou, where she expressed genuine care for those in her life. She regards countless youkai across Inazuma as her friends. However, staying true to her nature, she quickly turns the Traveler and Paimon's sympathy into an opportunity to trick them into covering an expensive dinner. She is among Ei's few friends who have remained constant over the years. The fact that Ei addresses the Shogun by her given name and Miko calls her by her real name, Ei, demonstrates their close relationship. Miko exhibits a strong emotional side despite her lighthearted and mischievous demeanor, as evidenced by her sincere concern for the people in her life during the Hyakkiyakou. She considers the many youkai in Inazuma to be her companions. But being herself, she swiftly takes advantage of the Traveler and Paimon's pity to defraud them of paying for a pricey dinner.
