Mikan Tsumiki

Mikan Tsumiki, the Ultimate Nurse, suffers with extreme anxiety problems stemming from her history of physical abuse. A skilled practitioner for her age, Mikan is well-versed in all things medicine and is very sweet when treating patients. While attending Hope's Peak Academy, Mikan began feeling comfortable enough to relish in how much she loved eating and feeling full. Enjoying herself as a bigger, softer version of herself, she is also secretly willing to fatten up others.

Mikan Tsumiki is a young woman who has endured a lifetime of bullying and abuse, which has left her extraordinarily anxious. A highly talented nurse with a gentle heart, Mikan is prone to apologetic hysterics when facing the slightest perceived disdain or disinterest from new people. Only a few people in the last couple of years since Mikan enrolled at Hope's Peak Academy have tried to befriend her, and while she does trust her closest friends, she continues to struggle with the feeling that everyone else silently hates her.

Mikan's history as a victim of abuse extends far back into her youth, with her neglectful parents and cruel classmates offering her no space to feel safe for years on end. As the age of her tormentors grew older on average, so did the severity of their mistreatment, traumatizing her in ways that have warped her sense of what's socially acceptable. As a means of protecting herself from the most extreme forms of physical exploitation, Mikan is willing to strip herself bare to please the people around her, a learned behavior resulting from her past experiences. Mikan is ready to be degraded in any number of ways in order to keep the people she's talking to from hating her, feeling that being seen as a punching bag is better than being ignored. Apathy is what terrifies Mikan the most, and she desperately does not want to be alone.

Mikan's talent as a nurse began with her treating her own injuries, as no one in her family cared to help whenever she was hurt. Her knowledge of medicine is extensive, covering everything from basic first aid to pharmaceuticals and lifestyle advice. She has a particular fondness for bandage wraps and often mumbles a tune to herself, repeating their name as a simple comfort.

Ever since Mikan began attending classes at Hope's Peak, her world of pain and suffering was flipped on its head. Within the safe walls of the school, no one threatened to hurt her, and she was free to express herself without debasement. Resultingly, Mikan began indulging herself in lots and lots of food, finding the sensation of fullness comforting. Enjoying the control afforded to her knowing that it was her own choice and the overall warmth that comes with a plump, blubbery figure, Mikan is happier than she's ever been after gaining weight. She avoids junk food so as not to negatively impact her health, but she loves hearty, wholesome meals.

Beneath Mikan's feeble and clumsy exterior is a soul desperate for control, and after suffering so much hardship, Mikan would do anything to keep someone who cares about her close to her. Employing her cooking skills, Mikan would gladly bargain for someone's affections with food or fatten them up in duplicitous fashion.

Mikan stands at an average height and has long, dark plum hair cut into uneven strands like someone had haphazardly taken to it with a pair of scissors. She has big, grey-mauve eyes and a pouty, worried face. Mikan wears her nurse's uniform, comprising a pink short-sleeved top worn underneath an apron and complete with a short blue skirt. Mikan has a heavy, portly build, very warm and wide at the waist.
