Mika was born to a normal family. Her oldest sister, Aya, was very shy but Mika and the middle sister, Sasha, were very close.

The slaver dealing with this family is corrupt. He has created slave contracts that don't comply with the laws, knowing the chance of this coming back to him is small. Mika is too young to be sold into sexual slavery for debt, so her records her as the child of a life slave, and thus a life slave herself. This means she is no longer legally considered human, and is fair game for anything.
