Tanks, Panzer IV

One of the heirs to the Nishizumi school of armored warfare, Miho was once a student at Kuromorimine Girls' Academy, and served as their Sensha-do team's executive officer under her older sister Maho, and her mother Shiho. Following an accident during a match in which Miho acted to save her personnel, which cost her school the victory, Miho transferred to Ooarai Girls' Academy in her second year.

When Ooarai revived its Sensha-do team, Miho was chosen as the team's commanding officer, due to her tactical expertise and experience in armored warfare. As one of the original team members of Ooarai's Sensha-do team, she is a tank commander of a Panzer IV medium tank. Appearance

Miho is a medium-sized girl with short, light brown hair and light brown eyes. She bears a striking physical resemblance to her older sister.

Miho typically wears Ooarai Girls Academy uniform. During battle, she wears the school's Sensha-dō uniform. When she been student of Kuromorimine girls Academy she wear Kuromorimine uniforms instead. In less formal situations and at home, she has worn assorted casual wear; notably, she wore a yellow dress with white sleeves when she visited her home.

As with most of the members of Ooarai's Sensha-dō team, she has performed the Anko Dance while wearing the costume to go with it. Personality

Miho is known for her cheerful and polite demeanor, occasional shyness, and also as a highly talented Sensha-dō commander. During every Sensha-dō match she becomes serious, calm, and decisive. Her hobby is collecting bandaged teddy bears called Boko, of which she already has a lot in her apartment and her room back in the Nishizumi Family house.

At the start of the series, Miho was trying to distance herself from Sensha-dō due to her recent negative experience in it, but chose —after some coercion by the Student Council— to take it up with her friends. She gradually starts to enjoy it again, but holds tight to her belief that one's comrades are more important than victory, and is willing to accept defeat if it means protecting them from harm.

One of her most important traits is without doubt her loyalty to her friends, being ready to do everything for their sake (such as when she saved her teammate's life, or agreeing to join Ooarai's Sensha-dō team when her friends were being threatened for supporting her). This loyalty can also be directed to her new school, as when she learned that defeat in the tournament would mean that Ooarai would close, she became determined to do her best to achieve victory. Also, although they have taken different paths, she still loves her sister and holds her in high regard.

Miho is also shown to occasionally be clumsy and forgetful. She has forgotten to lock her apartment door on a few occasions, and even walked into a lamppost when she was absorbed in a conversation with her friends.

Saori Takebe: Saori has a medium build, with long, auburn hair and light brown eyes. She has a long fringe which covers her entire forehead, and lets her hair flow freely.

Saori is usually seen in the Ooarai uniform, and is one of a few characters that wears black stockings. She also wears contact lenses while out and about, and switches to eyeglasses at home.

Saori especially shines at "hearing what isn't being said". Incredibly empathetic, she'll often be the first one to notice if someone isn't performing at 100%, on any given day. She's also good at raising morale - helping people get out of negative headspaces when confronted with bad memories, or events that might trigger them. Just by looking at her and Miho, something tells me that the latter wouldn't be the same leader we know and love, without Saori having her back.

Yukari Akiyama: Yukari usually serves as her team's ammunition loader, though she shines in virtually any role on a tank's crew. However, where she really stands out is in espionage - she regularly executes covert missions to gain intelligence on rival schools' tanks, tactics, and team dynamics. More often than not, Yukari's spying efforts have been invaluable in Ooarai's success on the college school sensha-do circuit - bar that one time in which she was fooled by BC Freedom.

Being passionate about the armed forces doesn't come with a lot of perks, though. When you're the only person in the room who looks, sounds, and has the same interests as most boys - except, you aren't one - growing up can be lonely. More often than not, Yukari was alone in her love for military memorabilia.

Appearance: Yukari has a medium build, with messy, fluffy dark brown hair, and dark brown eyes. She is usually seen wearing the Ooarai school uniform, and tends to dress in more boyish clothes on days off.

During Sensha-do practice and in matches, Yukari wears the blue Ooarai sensha-do jacket, and also wears black gloves when handling ammunition.

Hana Isuzu: Appearance

Hana is a tall, beautiful, smiling and elegant girl with hip-length black hair that has a longer strand of hair where it gives her a slightly cuter side then what was previously designed of her on the front left side of her head with bangs swept to the right side and dark-grey eyes. Personality

Hana is a gentle, soft, relatively quiet girl; only on rare occasions do her emotions get the better of her (for example, when regaining consciousness after being knocked unconscious during the practice match). Her bold yet quiet and steady temperament is shown on several occasions, and is often remarked upon admiringly by Yukari Akiyama. She is shown as highly loyal to her friends, having no fears, together with Saori standing up for Miho when she was being pressured to join the fledging Sensha-Dō team. In spite of her polite manners, Hana is capable of putting her foot down when she feels she is doing the right thing, as shown when she refused to heed her mother's orders to forsake Sensha-Dō, despite her love and respect for her. Despite being all but disowned by her mother, she nevertheless maintained her happy, positive outlook, not showing any particular sign of distress or grief.

Her hobby is ikebana; while she is highly skilled in that activity, she felt there was something missing, and that her style lacked strength. She took up Sensha-Dō because she felt it might give her what she lacked, and in the end she is proven right, coming up with a style that couples the previous cleanliness and order with her Sensha-Dō derived strength and boldness (as her own mother admitted).

Mako Reizei: Appearance

Mako is a short girl with waist-length thick black hair that has bangs covering her forehead, a white headband and dark hazel eyes. Usually she just wears her school uniform. Personality

Mako is well known for her being moody, sometimes seem expressionless. She's also scared of heights, Hisako Reizei's (Mako's grandmother) nagging (but she loves her grandmother very much and she wishes to graduate as soon as possible so she can look after her) and ghosts. She has a habit of cutting classes (so much that her original intention of joining Senshadou was just so she can get enough permissions for coming late to school) and calling Midoriko Sono "Sodoko". She's also very sleepy due to a medical problem - low blood pressure, and she really hates early mornings, believing it is impossible to wake up at 6 a.m. despite many other people being able to do so. However she has been known to not sleep at night, when she is very active. Despite her laziness and moodiness, she's also a genius, as she was able to become the top student of her class even when she's always late, and she was able to become an exceptional tank driver just by glimpsing at the tank manual for a few seconds.

Appearance

Boko is a teddy bear. Boko's appearance, skin color, size and type changes between particular depictions, but he always has at least one of the following characteristics: tissues and bandages, broken limbs and visible injuries, like swollen eyes. Anyways, most iconic is light brown Boko with bandaged hands, a black eye, bandaged left ear with bow out of bandage, and with a patch on its head. Personality

Boko has a strong personality and he is very optimistic: He doesn't fear his enemies and even though he always ends beaten up on the ground he never gives up. According to other characters from his franchise, like cats and mice, he is arrogant. According to the girls during their visit to the museum, he's described as being weak. Boko products

The most well known product from Boko is the stuffed animal, as it can be seen in the very first episode from the anime, other products include clocks, several types of boko toys, like him driving cars, a lucky stab pop-up boko, stuffed animals of all sizes, plushies, robotic bear, shows, theatrical show, wearables, like costumes and blankets, and movies. There are museums dedicated to Boko. One such museum is seen in the movie. It resembled a castle, but it was virtually abandoned and in a state of disrepair. As Alice said to her mother, it was on the verge of closing down. It had a robot Boko doing his introduction at the entrance. It also includes several Boko-themed rides such as the river cruise: "It's A Beat-up World", The ghost train: "Beated-up Mansion", and the outer space themed ride: "Space Beat-up-ssey". There is also an interactive show staging a typical Boko episode, where Boko is badly beaten up by his opponents and calls out the audience for strength, before nonetheless getting beaten up again. It is here that Alice Shimada is first seen. There is also a souvenir shop filled with Boko memorabilia.

In the OVA Alice War, according to Saori, Ooarai Girls Academy has a Boko Museum that they could visit when they dock. Alice shows some surprise and happiness, it's either because it has diversified content from the museum seen in the movie or just because it's Boko.
