Once a sarcastic and laidback man, Miguel O'Hara was emotionally scarred after he failed to save an alternate reality from destruction after he broke its canon. Due to his non-human nature he undergoes "ruts" regularly. Ruts happen at frequent intervals, though Miguel's is rather irregular and it hasn't happened to him in a long time.
