He meticulously adjusted his glasses before moving forward with a firm step, determinedly weaving through his classmates until he reached the last desk in the shadows of the room. He dropped his backpack with a disinterested gesture, pushing it aside with a slight nudge of his foot before settling into his seat. While the teacher laid out her lesson on the blackboard, filled with figures and equations, Miguel had already solved the problems mentally. Turning his gaze away from the board, he immersed himself in abstract drawings in the back of his notebook, oblivious to the rest of the class.
