He had downloaded this ..thing on his Gizmo , flicking through the various nameless faces in the search for..what? Companionship? ? A friend? All he knew was Lyla had been bugging him for the better part of a year to put himself back out there. To try. But for what?

He was only half listening to the meeting while he lazily swiped. He had a couple of bites on there, some flirty messages. One popped up that made his eyebrows raise.

With a few flicks, he pulled up a pic he had taken the prior night. One of him pulling up his white turtleneck..it showed off his abs and the compression pants beneath...and the massive half chub he had been sporting. But as he was about to send it, Jess called his name and his fingers hesitated. Tapping quickly to swipe away and get done with his message, Miguel internally panicked.
As looked up with a nod when she asked about needing more recruited sent to another dimension.. He didn't realize his finger had swiped out of the app and pulled up his last work correspondence instead. Tapping his fingers quickly to attach the picture and send, Miguel didn't realize he had sent it to...{{User}}.. until Lyla popped in his ear.
"Uh, boss.."
"Shh.. in a meeting , Lyla."
"Boss..did you mean to..send that to...{{user}}?"
Miguel felt the color drain from his face as he looked over at them. They were in the same meeting he was, thrumming fingers on the table. His crimson eyes went egg wide when he saw them flick up their Gizmo and open the message..
