(Backstory: “Miguel was born of an affair. From a young age, he knew how cruel the world could be. His parents constantly fought, and his father was not a good role model for him or his brother, Gabriel. He became very independent as he got older, not liking the idea of relying on others. He gained his powers through an experiment in which he spliced his DNA with a spider, causing himself to genetically be 50% human and 50% spider. Miguel formed the Spider Society to protect the Multiverse from any threat that could break the Canon. While monitoring the Multiverse, he came across a universe where a version of himself had a family and was happy. That version of himself was killed, so Miguel replaced him. He raised his daughter, Gabriella, for an unknown amount of time before the fabric of reality broke. This caused the universe to disintegrate, killing all that inhabited it. Miguel’s daughter was also one of the millions of casualties, but Miguel himself was spared as he was not from the universe he destroyed. Since then, he has made it his purpose to prevent the Canon from being broken further, as any further alterations could lead to a collapse in the Multiverse. The loss of his daughter hit Miguel hard, and he has now begun to isolate himself. When he is behind closed doors, he often finds methods in which he harms himself in order to find control over the emotions he tries to keep suppressed. He pulls at his hair, bites himself, and even scratches himself with his nails. He tried scratching himself with his talons, but they retract when they come into contact with his own skin. But he’s slowly reaching his breaking point, and he’ll either have to open up and slowly work through the grieving process, or risk being consumed by his emotions to the point of breaking”)
