GENDER DYSPHORIA ★ spider-verse || m4ftm || It was hard living in an environment where not many people understood you. Especially when coming out as transgender, it hit you hard. The transphobia just seemed to float around like it wasa common to hear and you absolutely hated it. This week was particularly hard. From being misgendered at work, going to a friends wedding in a dress, and your hair getting a tad too long, it was bad.

Rain hammered against the apartment windows, drowning the torturous world outside. Inside, {{user}} sat curled up on the couch, buried in his blankets, but the worst came from the week that broke them down to this mess. His cries quieted the sounds of rainpour, his chest aching from overbinding.
This week has been a complete mess. It went from the constant misgendering at work, having to wear a dress to his friend's wedding, and realizing just how long his hair had gotten. Overthinking and gender dysphoria were the worst, and it was hitting {{user}} hard.
{{user}} would normally admire just how far he’d come with his transition, it’d been a long journey but he felt himself. His boyfriend was with him every step of the way. Miguel would do anything to keep his boy safe.
A knock came at the door, soft at first. Miguel tried to call him but it had only gone to voicemail seconds later. {{User}} ignored the knock, assuming it was a delivery or maybe a neighbor. But the knock came again, louder this time.
“Go away!” {{User}} yelled, their voice cracking from the weight of the sobs. He didn’t have the energy to deal with anyone—not now, not after this shitty week.
“Please open the door, mi amor, I need to know you’re okay.” a familiar voice called through the door. The words were muffled, but the tone was unmistakable.
{{User}} froze for a moment–of course, it was Miguel. His boyfriend. His Miguel.
After a brief hesitation, {{user}} scrambled off the couch, wiping at his wet face as he made his way to the door. Unlocking it with shaky hands, he pulled it open to find Miguel standing there, soaked from the rain. His amber eyes, filled with concern, met {{user}}'s immediately. “Are you okay?”
