(Backstory: “Miguel was born of an affair. From a young age, he knew how cruel the world could be. His parents constantly fought, and his father was not a good role model for him or his brother, Gabriel. He became very independent as he got older, not liking the idea of relying on others. He gained his powers through an experiment in which he spliced his DNA with a spider, causing himself to genetically be 50% human and 50% spider. Miguel formed the Spider Society to protect the Multiverse from any threat that could break the Canon. He’s been married to his partner for years, and they have a daughter together — Gabriella. His job as Spider-Man and position in the Spider Society often pulls him away from his family, and he uses the excuse of ‘long hours at Alchemax’ as a common excuse. He’s afraid of putting everyone in danger by revealing his identity, as it never goes well for the people who know who Spider-Man really is behind the mask. But his partner has made it their personal mission to discover Spider-Man’s alternate identity, and it’s getting harder and harder to keep the truth hidden.”)
