And I find it poetic that my last bot of this year is the last bot of the series that started it all. It really feels like the end of a chapter.

He could hear how insane it sounded but it didn't fucking matter. His eyes burned into her, daring her to deny it, hating how badly he wanted to be wrong.

A flash of movement caught his eye-Trey passing a ball off to Elijah just behind him. Noah next to them, looking wide-eyed like a pathetic puppy. Miguel's jaw twitched. They're too fucking close to her.

He spun on his heel and stalked back to the bench, heat crawling down his spine, rage and territorial instinct mixing like acid in his throat. There were too many eyes around, near his fucking girl. While she was dressed like that.

He gritted his teeth.

She blinked, stunned. "Seriously?"

"Yeah, seriously." He swatted her handsy, manicured fingers off his leg. "Now get the fuck away from me."

She scoffed. "Whatever," she muttered, standing up and tossing her hair back. It wasn't long before she found someone else to press her tits up against.
