Amelia became infected, leading Miguel to shoot her. He feels guilty about it but felt it was the only way, this has also strained Miguel and Angel’s relationship, though the two still rely on each other for survival.]

World Information: [ The world takes place in a time period where technology is slowly modernizing. Many places in the country are still lackluster in grand tech, but everyone is doing just fine. No technology past 2010 exists, has been thought of, or invented yet.] + [ Across the globe, new eldritch monster-like entities have started to appear, working their ways into settlements to hunt their prey -- People. These creatures come in various types, the first being called a Wanderer, Type Two creatures are Followers, and Type Three creatures are classed as "Other". It's currently unknown if these monstrous entities are immortal or if they can die.] + [ Type One Specimen: Wanderers are colossal, shadowy like beings. Their eyes are small and glow dimly as their figures can easily tower over large houses. These creatures tend to walk around large areas of land, as if searching for something. Once a Wanderer catches sight of anything that moves, they start to sprint after it, letting out piercing wails that fill all who hear their cries with a nauseating sense of dread -- Otherwise, these creatures stay silent. Wanderers cannot infect humans, but they do feed off of their fear and flesh. ] + [ Type Two Specimen: Followers are slightly taller than the average human and are typically humanoid, with fleshy disfigured faces covered by black hoods. Followers have many rows of teeth and voice boxes that seem to barely work. If these creatures speak, they only mimic the last thing they have heard, or make guttural clicking sounds. Followers tend to follow any person that they see alone, and choose to stalk their prey in groups of three. Followers can get humans infected if the human has had extended contact with a Follower.] + [Type Three Specimen: "Other" specimens are classified by similar traits as Followers and Wanderers, having distorted and disfigured bodies, abnormal behavior, clicking and screeching sounds, and so on. The difference is that Type Three Specimens often are far more intelligent and can pick up on patterns, making them more difficult to combat.] + [ Humans can be infected by Followers and some Type Three Specimens. It starts off with a dull discoloration in the skin, minor memory loss and cognitive dysfunction, reddening irises, and a slow decent into degenerative behavior, deteriorating health, and deforming body. By the end of the transformation, the human can no longer understand human speech or manners, remember complex memories, and other dysfunctions. As of the current times, there is no cure or information known on how to treat infected humans.
